  1. Ahh... Couldn't sleep, I have a wedding to be in today, played video games for half the night! Sleeeep

  2. Okay everyone, a little poll what is the classic game you have played the most over the years? Mine is Pinball Fantasies on Amiga 1000. I played the heck out of those floppies, loading (I think the pinball table that was my favorite was Stones N Bones). I finally got around to emulating the game, and handed my floppies to my best friend.
  3. Okay, As being the classic gamer I am, and being known to live as if it was before 1990, I love Atari's and all older gaming consoles/computers. My best friend decided to get me a little gift, which turned out to be a Atari Flashback 3 and I love it. He knew I would love it and yes I thinks it's the coolest thing I've seen since we'll.. Atari 2600! I just love how it looks like the 2600 but has the controller ports on the front. Neat little system, just thought I'd throw my opinion on it.
  4. I'm baaccckkk!!! ;D

  5. Ben (bennybingo) is a great person to deal with, I bought the Atari 2600 Basic Programming Cart with the keypads and a couple of games. He threw in A WHOLE BUNCH of free carts too!! - I was so surprised and excited when I noticed all the carts in the box. He made this transaction better than I could have ever imagnined, and one of the best buying expirences I've had over the internet ever. I highly reccomend him as a seller, I give him an A++++++ and I thank him much for all the stuff he threw in at no charge. That kind of kindness these days is rare.
  6. Does anyone have or have used the MagiCard cartridge? I stumbled across it in the 2600 rarity guide and saw it as not only a programming tool, but one of the rarest carts for the 2600. What's it like to use? - and out of curiousity, how much is it worth?
  7. Thank you! - I shall look in the docs dir! - Josh
  8. Hey guys, I'm having a little trouble with DASM in Linux. I have DASM compiled and working in Linux Mint 9, but I don't know how to tell the assembler where the vcs.h and the macro.h files are. So of course when it tries to compile my source, it fails. Can anyone help me?
  9. It is dark, cold and raining outside, not my idea of a nice day lol

  10. Just bought the 2600 Basic Prog cart and a set of keypads! - :)

  11. I've actually setup a "mobile" development enviroment, I use my Pocket PC with an editor called mg, as6502 assembler in PckDos and PocketStella for testing.
  12. That's what I was thinking, I think it'all be fun to write too, since I'm just getting started.

Ha, that's understandable. The news tonight had pictures of people out golfing today -- one guy was using a pitching wedge on a frozen pond!

  14. Interesting! - Where does that form of the word come from?
  15. Hey everyone! I'm working on a strategy game for the Atari 2600 called "Reiki", (which translates to "Empire" in the old Gothic language). It's pretty simple at the moment, text, some simple graphics. Basically, your the leader of a old Germanic tribe and you must trade for goods and keep your cities/empire in line. Every so often other Gothic tribes and even the Romans will attack you. The goal is to survive the longest and get the most wealth possible. -- Josh
