  1. i figured around the 150aud mark would be acceptable, not a fan of auctioning items, to many people bid and drive up the price in the heat of the moment and decide not to buy cause theyve bidded more than they want to pay just to win it
  2. As the title suggest what would most recommend selling one for, i have a few surplus to needs, they arent being made any more are they? Thanks
  3. Im an aussie, the jag never made it here so it was something i came across later in life and my first taste of it got me wondering how the hell wasnt this trumping nintendo, i did most of my growing up on the nes and snes, i always thought that these nintendo consoles felt as though they were government issued and rather bland in terms of styling, let alone they were everywhere and you never could have anything unique, the whole "i dont wanna do it if diddy did it" (southpark pun) controlled me for a while. The whole cd32 basically being a amiga 1200 sold me on it, all the games i remember playing d generation for a whole weekend once, not one room was left unexplored
  4. Hands down the jag trumps it power wise, and there's no point comparing, the expandability and software library is what enticed me to the cd32, you could spend days and days checking out the software available
  5. I just ordered a console from another guy here in aus, for me theres only 2 systems i like, the jag and amiga cd32, it really boggles my mind how they weren't as big as they should have been i could just rave on about the potentials of them, The only time i have to play is whilst im in the crapper (im sure most men are the same) ive never been glued to playing a game since the days of mortal kombat, now running a business and having a kid on the way has taken time from me, but i do find maybe an hour a week to go through the colection and fire something up, gotta be 2d and fast progessing
  6. Cheers guys, ive just checked a few of them out, time organise finances and get back into it

Closure on this, did it vapour?
  8. I moved towns a while ago and trimmed some fat from the belongings naturally my muscle car trumps any video game, so i sold off all of my jag gear except for the skunkboards i had, which i am glad i kept them as ive browsed ebay looking for some jag gear and f@ck me, when did this stuff turn to gold?? Obviously this kind of gold doesnt sell just look at completed listings, so its safe to say im only gonna buy carts when sellers actually wanna sell. Where do i look now? Is there any sources where this stuff is actually reasonably priced? Any help would be appreciated other wise there may be a few overpriced skunkboards up for grabs
  9. anyone know of a guide or know themselves of how to use a pc power supply on a panasonic fz-1 3do. i am asking as i have purchased this system with a fried transformer and instead of sourcing another transformer. difficult for me as the old one is a 110v unit and i'm in aus and would prefer to use a 220v-240v power supply i had thought about sourcing a uk or eu transformer but its very hard to find just a transformer without taking the risk on buyin a dead unit and then the chances that the dead ones problem aint the same and then the price of postage on top... anyway i would really appreciate some help or any ideas at all? here are some pics of the units supply with voltages written on there http://i165.photobuc...6414_30edit.jpg http://i165.photobuc...6411_30edit.jpg http://i165.photobuc...6410_30edit.jpg
  10. i somewhat agree with you.... though i think its perfectly fine to use it to play games you CAN'T afford cause some sellers think there worth there weight in gold!!! i refer you to d!ckheads like this ( eBay Auction -- Item Number: 370525333129 ) Except you don't have to get a new copy of that game. You can get a used copy for much less than the cost of a Skunkboard. I don't think that there are 400+ Skunkboards in the hands of just developers, but I do think that a lot of people are buying them for the possibility of playing future games that are made on them. I really don't think that too many, "Hey, I'll get a Jaguar and just this cartridge" people are buying them, or at least it hasn't in any way seemed that way from the sales we have made. thats just an example of outrageous prices, agreed, you can get most of the games for less than a price of a skunkboard, and i own most games (would love to own them all as i prefer orig carts over digi copies) but there are some i'd like to have, its not that i cant afford to, but just can't justify the price of some games and won't give in to overpriced games and greedy sellers! main thing that inspired me to buy a skunkboard was Kobayashi Maru (just have to play it on the real thing!!!) and some other homebrew's. and cant wait to have my skunkboard! (damn international post!)

  12. I got outbid in the last few seconds! Oh well, I might get a Lynx instead and keep looking for a Jaguar. yeah i seen that you might just have to bite the bullet on postage, i had also brought one from the Netherlands and it only cost me $40 to get it here, just keep hunting. any particular lynx gear your after? i've got 4 working consoles 2 of each model been thinking about culling my excess gear down and since i've brought a flash cart for it i'll be getting rid of a fair few games also let me know what you think
  13. yeah postage was near $100 but didn't mind paying that much since the console was cheap enough, i'll be throwing this one back on ebay tonight less the games it come with and the box, does come with checkered flag though, i'll send you a link if you like...? I've already put in a bid on it. good luck mate, hope you win it
