  1. Something like the original 1001 PSP, I have one that has a broken cracked screen.
  2. How hard would it be to disconnect the wires running to a screen on a handheld and connect them to wires to run to a TV?

  4. Thanks for all the info, I wasn't aware that there were that many variations. My favorite is definitely the loose dpad on the 3 button, but my 2nd choice is my 3rd party 6 button that has a very similar feeling to it.
  5. I have a couple of controllers for my genesis, 3 3 button ones and a 3rd party 6 button. On the 3 button controllers there is a noticeable difference in the dpad feel from controller to controller. Two of them have a really stiff dpad, one has a more loose one with a bit of a longer throw to it. I could understand if these were 2 different iterations, but one of the stiff ones has the red letters, while the other is the all black one (as well as the one with the looser dpad). Does anyone else notice these differences between some of their controller's?
  6. Currently playing LA Noire, and loving it. This will probably be one of the 1st times where I will buy the DLC, I think it's that good.
  7. I really have to disagree with this statement, I'm only 20 myself, I never grew up with really any of these older games. My 1st real system was a PS1 (technically a Genesis, but I was a bit too young to really play it). I looked back at older games because I love history and came to find out that these games are extremely fun, and in some ways superior to newer ones. More than half of the games I own, I had never previously played or knew anything about, so it isn't just nostalgia. I picked up a 2600 on a bit of a whim with a bunch of games. I got some of my friends over and we played some games on it. It was probably one of the funnest times I've ever had. The bug hit my friends too, they picked up older systems themselves and started playing games that they hadn't been playing before. I don't personally know or associate with anyone that is clamoring for a new laptop for phone every couple of months, you use what you have and when it wears out/breaks replace it. So, I just wanted to make it clear that not every "kid" feels that the new stuff is somehow better. Those with the intelligence to look past the superficial differences will find that there is fun to be had in all generations of gaming, and really isn't that what we're all here for, having fun playing games.
  8. I was a bit weary at 1st with these announcements, but from that announcement I'm really looking foward for this system. The best part to me is the controller, as I love the Neo Geo pocket and love the feel of microswitches. I also really like that it'll be able to play games from alot of the different regions.
  9. I don't do it this way on my own computer, this was just the most simplified way of starting the game for my mother, who is really bad with tech stuff (and I'm not that good myself).
  10. I didn't really figure anything out. I just put the game file on the desktop, when you click on it the 1st time it asks what program to use and I specified Nestopia. From then on it just opens up the emulator and automatically plays the game.
  11. Never mind, I got it figured out , Mods, you can delete this.
  12. My mother really likes the game Tetris and wants me to try and set up an application on her computer so that, without being online she can click on a program icon and immediately start playing the game. Is there a way to set up Nestopia so that all she has to do is double click and begin playing?
  13. I had 2, got rid of 1 in a trade. Both were identical, save for the pic on the label.
  14. I actually wouldn't mind this as much as the sharpie. Sure its permanent, but as long as its an actual brand and not some guy with a soldering iron.
  15. I'm looking at getting some games for the 360, mostly ones that you can just pick up, play and not get caught up with a story, just pure fun. More or less a party game that can be played single-player as well.
