  1. Are you after one for a remote wireless controller or something else? I had a search on ebay US, UK, and AU and found only this being the closest match (slightly different style plug though) but it means you would have to buy the whole cable just for a plug. http://www.ebay.com/...d#ht_500wt_1202 The connector I'm looking for is Atari DB9, and the one in the auction is SIO Atari cable, completely different connector. I need them because those plugs don't have screws on the side, like a typical DB9 serial cables. I need them for joysticks and mice I'm making. I may use an extension cables and cut off one end. I just realised they are different cables - still waking up I guess. lol

  3. Most plugs are "molded in-one" but this one can be unscrewed to remove the two outer shells of the plug (see close-up of plug). I do have a cable with a molded plug that i could use but I really like to keep it "original" as possible. That plug in your link maybe the way to go as it can be fitted and removed with modifying anything. Great idea making a mold but I don't think I'm that talented.
  4. We have "JayCar Electronics" which I think would be similar to Radio Shack but they don't have them and I'm certain our other electronic stores here don't stock those kind of components either. ...only found db9/de9 connectors that are different in appearance to the Atari Db9 connector. Thanks for the ideas though, much appreciated.
  5. Hi people, Just wondering if anyone has one of these "screw together 9-pin plugs"...that they wouldn't mind parting with? Its for my Atari Remote Controllers. See attached pic:
  6. The circuit should work in PAL as-is. Connect pins 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, and 13 from the PAL TIA to the holes marked 2, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 13 on the board, respectively. Do not connect the holes marked 6 and 12. Then, omit R1, R2, R7, and C4. Has anyone installed the mod in a PAL console using this method??? .....I have purchased some mods so when they arrive i will give it a go. Hopefully, if I don't blow-up my atari, I will post some installation pics to help others.
