  1. Regular customer since 2011, I too offer Tom my Thanks!
  2. https://www.ebay.com/itm/165587026620?mkevt=1&mkpid=0&emsid=e11021.m43.l1120&mkcid=7&ch=osgood&euid=2fcc894ab2d84dd79dfc8becb48fd86b&bu=43179455870&ut=RU&osub=-1~1&crd=20220720080219&segname=11021 The Game Box and picture label cart in the auction and wallet have been married together. The wallet era predated the pic carts by 2+ years and the wallet boxes were unique and mentioned the wallet. The booklet is also wrong for the wallet edition, it's white not red and it's the later larger size. Yeah wallet in the auction looks to be in "decent" shape, hopefully who ever wins is doing it for the wallet and is aware that is nowhere near an authentic Superman w/Wallet CIB. As for a WATA rating mentioned as possible in the auction description; based on the box only Haspel* would be able to get an 8.0+, all others will be very lucky to score a 7.0. *=those in the know, know Now if the listing mentioned it was CIB picture cart era, thus NON-wallet version, Superman plus a loose wallet from the wallet edition included as an extra in the auction that might be correct. I do wonder if the listing represents honest lack of knowledge on the seller's part or forethought of malice? Correct booklet, box and Cart for the version distributed with the wallet: P.S. Remember the wallet needs the box and lid to be consider complete
  3. The auction hammered at $735 ! - who knows, could have approached 1k if the wallet box and clear cover were included in the listing.?
  4. Winner! Before obtaining one a few years back, I searched over 2 decades for the wallet complete with the wallet box+clear cover in nice condition before I found one. The wallet itself is very hard to find, the box w/clear cover in anything more than cat toy condition might as well be hens tooth rare. Along the way I did acquire some in lesser condition. Difficult to tell from my not so good pics but the wallet is unused and condition is close to Mint. Paint has nice original shine/sheen to it and the zipper and zipper handle are shiny perfect. All imperfections appears to be part of the manufacturing, it's a faux leather wallet after all. The clear cover has no bends or dings, the printed letters are mint, corners are squared and sharp. Overall I'd rate the clear cover as NM/M. The white box is NM+.

Figured I'd throw the question out there as trivia challenge.
  6. Both systems had their strengths and weaknesses. Colecovision if the coding was there could produce excellent Arcade ports that in at least in one case, Ladybug, exceeded the arcade. My best memories reside with Colecovision playing Venture and especially Ladybug with my siblings - I still recall our amazement the when we first "discovered" the Vegetable Harvest.
  7. Asteroids - sucked at it then and after 20 years of playing via MAME on cabinet and on highly customized arcade panel I still suck at it.
  8. Wow only seeing this today - Kickman, aka Kick really brings back some memories and retro-memories for me. Thanks!
  9. Nice ,Thanks man! I believe I already have everything that is needed. Will give it a go soon.
  10. That would be incredible and perhaps bring tears to my eyes - seriously
  11. Hi - for SSH in Developer mode I am seeking a recommendation for working USB ethernet adapter. Thanks Thank you to all the folks that made Stella 6 possible on the unit! After seeing this thread today I ordered the R77
  12. My Cab is still running .106 On my PC's I stopped updating at mameuifx .175, when mamesick was forced out by haters . Still I'm glad to see the MAME + MESS efforts continue. Back in the day MAME gave me great enjoyment. Being able to play in effect bit-perfect Phoenix at home in the late 1990's is something for which I'm an eternally grateful to Nicola and the MAME folks back then who made that possible.
  13. Hi, I may be wrong but I do not think Stephen has any involvement with 2600.emu, which is still based on Stella 4.7.3 . I do like Robert's 2600.emu app but its updates now are usually a year or more apart so I'm not getting my hopes up. Serves me right for purchasing it :sigh
  14. Hi Stephen, Prior to 6 , the trailing \ was not required for me. When I started 6 the first time all items required proper basedir did not show up. When I looked at the Stella system log I saw; "e:\emu\Atari\2600\Stellastella.ini" the \ was missing after 2600\Stella I then changed my basedir.txt from: e:\emu\Atari\2600\Stella to: e:\emu\Atari\2600\Stella\ then all looked good when Stella started. The Stella system log displayed e:\emu\Atari\2600\Stella\stella.ini As for commandline arg of -basedir as you mentioned - seems like a perfect idea to me!
