I'm lucky to have even claimed Persona5. I mean my collection is complete, yet at the same time I'm jealous you got a 4 terabyte solution compared to my 2 terabytes of Cerny-Approved storage.
Well, I'm not sure if Rich Whitehouse is on AtariAge yet, but I'm on his Discord. I'll see if I can get him to join this forum, but I'm not promising anything...
Like the 'great' Ivan Drago once said: "I fight to win for Me! FOR ME!!!"
Meaning build whateverthehell satisfies YOU within your budget and/or fantasy of what your 'dream PC' should be!
In my case, who the hell wants Windows 11? 😛
The weird thing is, after fiddling with an Xinput controller, I did some slight research on how to do your ultimate end goal starting with getting a Jaguar controller, namely one of those Pro dealies with the six face buttons and stuff!
The maker of the 2600-Daptor apparently made a version for Jag controllers that I'd imagine would just plain work.
Now if only Pro controllers weren't so dang expensive (starting at $60 here at AtariAge)...
In short I myself have a guesstimate but need actual hands-on experience...
...crap.
I wish the edit window were longer because I have something to mourn.
I'm a huge fan of MAMIUI (formerly MAME32).
I just learned the creator mercifully killed its development at .248.
Now I have to actually use MAME's own UI. I sure do miss checking out which other games used 'X soundchip' or 'Y system source'... Curse my curiosity! XD
Well! Mention of the Quantel Digital PaintBox got me to Google the machine.
Sure, I know it's some valuable piece of behind-the-scenes TV tech used by broadcasters, and graphic artists alike in the 80s and early 90s, but I'm in the middle of watching a series by Dexter'sTechLab on repairing its UK cousin the DPB-7001!
This could well open up a hands-on learning experience for TV Production students wanting to learn more about this facet of the history of television...
In other news, our very own Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest and port of KC Munchkin made the 7800 Software List! ...Yay? XD
'TAKE ALL THE QUILS!' [place neurotically obsessed face here]
...Anyway what reversepinball said; your betatest is close to getting me to crave the most powerful DS hardware family release, whatever model 3DS that is...
Okay, I just tried to sign in on Desktop via the "Existing user? Sign in" popup on the main page, and the title of the following page was like, "I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that."
I had to resort to a separate /login tab to get in...
My sanity hopes you mean width as in pixels, not physically. I'm on a Galaxy S9 with a 1440P screen, using a fairly obscure browser called Dolphin, because in my ~10 years of mobile browsing, I fear I got too used to it! (It's where all my bookmarks are! XD)
