  1. . (cannot delete an erroneous post ?)
  2. Wrong colors, and maybe screen roll if your tv can't handle 50Hz images.
  3. Not a console, but a cx40 stick (or repro) spotted on season 3 ep 6 of Upload (available on prime video), a futuristic comedy where the guy is exploring the memory from a deceased guy's hard drive, using the stick. Who needs more than one button huh ? 😋
  4. PAL light sixer on a PAL Sony TV, Fatal Run is ok, although screen jumps one time between title/level/game. Rock 'n rope has some colors, but is very greyish indeed. The carts :
  5. Hello, As said is object, I’d like to order that bundle at what seems a bargain to me : 189$ But it seems unfortunately that they only ship to US... I asked them if there is a way to ship to Belgium, but still waiting for an answer. So would some valued us atariage member accept to be intermediary between atari.com and I ? Thank you : )
  6. They are not the most common, but I have 2 ntsc compatible crts (one of them is a soooo cute barbie tv 😋). I too can’t imagine playing 2600 on something else than a crt !
  7. https://www.amazon.fr/Rpanle-Adaptateur-Connecteur-connecteur-dantenne/dp/B08X4FNPST/ref=sr_1_42?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=2N5A9NQFSUW39&keywords=Male+coax+connector&qid=1663405357&sprefix=male+coax+connector%2Caps%2C101&sr=8-42
  8. Or a ntsc compatible tv ; ) Which most recent tvs are. The simpliest is to cut the us antenna plug and install a male coax connector.
  9. With the CX40, it's very simple to rewire it for lefties. https://youtu.be/OTan3O7XVZE
  10. Seems I was the only one of the crowd bold enough to use it ?
  11. If you want to google translate this, here is what I thought about : https://cambouisdelatari.wordpress.com/2014/11/06/le-spectravideo-compumate/ tldr : great for collection, but crap to use !
  12. Some here don't like him, but did you try Hozer Video ?
  13. Ok everything is fine ! That resistor is indeed hot, but far less than when the capacitor died ! Thanks for your help : )
  14. Yes it's the R203. Do you mean that the heat at the resistor is normal, the smoke just coming from the capacitor ? Or that 7.80v is too much and we should expect 5v ? If someone can confirm ? I'm sorry, I'm not used to the 800 board. Top voltage regulator seems ok. Could someone show me some points where to check the voltage ? Or point me to some ressources on 800 failure trackings ?
  15. Hello, Last time I plugged my 800, I smelled a nasty smoke... it was still working but I switched it off quickly. I opened it, and located the source of heat : a resistor. I also noticed that one of the 4700µF capacitors was puffy. So I ordered 2 capas and replaced them. But that resistor is still getting very hot when powered... Edit : there is 7.80v on that resistor. Any idea someone ? Thanks for reading !
