I'm very happy to read any news about your project. It would be nice to have expansion for real TI99/4a and to be able to have memory expansion and disk drive and to be able to load modules from files on SD card.
It is nice to see that someone is trying to get TMS9900 into FPGA. It would be nice to see TI99/4a on MIST list of emulated systems.
I suggest same idea in earlier topic. It would be nice to have new design of PEB motherboard. Maybe it would be nice to have new memory expansion card (32k or more with memory banking) and disk controller (possibility to connect HxC floppy emulator). I suggest new PEB motherboard with new memory expansion card and disk controller.
CF7+ and nanoPEB are only new device for expanding TI99/4a and only new device for relatively easy PC to TI file transfer.
This new PEB motherboard with memory expansion and disk controller would give all user who don't have original PEB or any other original stand alone expansion unit to expand their TI to full use.
I agree that this is maybe not a bug. There are many diferences betwen TI BASIC and XB. Maybe we should leave it this way. Another question is how to update RXB on cartridge without burning rom again.
I have 3 in 1(XB, XB2.7 and RXB) module from arcadeshopper. I'am not in position to sent rom to reburn(Croatia is in Europe).
Game is in TI Basic only. No E/A code. I use only 3 in 1 module (XB, XB 2.7 and RXB. I buy it from arcadeshopper) when try to run Meteors. I try this on real TI with F18A. It has expanded memory with CF7+. I have no GRAM device or PEB. In last row of screen stars show. They are push up when another row of stars apper in the last row. This way I create scroll effect. In RXB this way doesnt work. Is there another way to create this in RXB or will this game only work in TI Basic? Try to run this game in TI Basic and then in RXB.
Here is my collection of computers. If my TI goes beyond repair or there would be no TI users my choice would be Yugoslav computer Orao (in english Eagle). It is black and white, have 6502 processor and sound like ZX Spectrum. Orao is in 3rd row on right. Orao was produced in my hometown Varaždin
