Do you plan to implement support for F19A?

Thank you for your answer!

I'm very happy to read any news about your project. It would be nice to have expansion for real TI99/4a and to be able to have memory expansion and disk drive and to be able to load modules from files on SD card.

It is nice to see that someone is trying to get TMS9900 into FPGA. It would be nice to see TI99/4a on MIST list of emulated systems.

Please continue good work!

#3475916 Is there anyone currently who is making homebrew carts and unreleased games

--- Ω --- what Atari games are on that module? How can I get this module? I'am in search for Atari collection on module (all Atari TI games)!

Please, Please, Please!!!!!!!

This was caracter from Star Trek: Next generation. In one text this actor say that he had TI99/4a and he learn TI Basic. :)

I think there is more behind this picture then this wow. :)

#3425675 New Development Idea ? PEB option ?

Posted by Manic1975 on Wed Jan 27, 2016 5:26 AM

I suggest same idea in earlier topic. It would be nice to have new design of PEB motherboard. Maybe it would be nice to have new memory expansion card (32k or more with memory banking) and disk controller (possibility to connect HxC floppy emulator). I suggest new PEB motherboard with new memory expansion card and disk controller.

CF7+ and nanoPEB are only new device for expanding TI99/4a and only new device for relatively easy PC to TI file transfer.

This new PEB motherboard with memory expansion and disk controller would give all user who don't have original PEB or any other original stand alone expansion unit to expand their TI to full use.

#3410712 RXB 2012/REA 2011?

Posted by Manic1975 on Fri Jan 8, 2016 3:20 AM

I agree that this is maybe not a bug. There are many diferences betwen TI BASIC and XB. Maybe we should leave it this way. Another question is how to update RXB on cartridge without burning rom again.
I have 3 in 1(XB, XB2.7 and RXB) module from arcadeshopper. I'am not in position to sent rom to reburn(Croatia is in Europe).

#3407322 RXB 2012/REA 2011?

Posted by Manic1975 on Mon Jan 4, 2016 2:01 AM

Game is in TI Basic only. No E/A code. I use only 3 in 1 module (XB, XB 2.7 and RXB. I buy it from arcadeshopper) when try to run Meteors. I try this on real TI with F18A. It has expanded memory with CF7+. I have no GRAM device or PEB. In last row of screen stars show. They are push up when another row of stars apper in the last row. This way I create scroll effect. In RXB this way doesnt work. Is there another way to create this in RXB or will this game only work in TI Basic? Try to run this game in TI Basic and then in RXB.

I put game in attach.

Thank you for your answer.

#3360684 Tape emulator

Posted by Manic1975 on Thu Nov 5, 2015 2:19 PM

Have you see this web page http://sweetlilmre.b...tapuino-r2.html

It is instructions how to build tape emulator for Commodore 64/128/16/+4

It have source code for arduino part.

What do you think guys about this. Can we use this device with our TI99/4a?

I would try this with my Commodore 64/128/16/+4 and I would be happy to try it with TI.

What do you think?

#3341899 Is there a project to make smaller PEB?

Posted by Manic1975 on Sun Oct 11, 2015 11:04 AM

Guys is there a project to make a smaller PEB? Is there project to make PCB with 3 slots? It could have 32k memory expansion and floppy controler and rs232 or parallel connector for printer.

Original PEB is big and heavy. I think it would be nice to have someting smaller and cheaper to buy then large PEB.

Maybe we could build box for this smaller PEB at home and then put components together.

I have CF7 and I know about nanoPEB, but I would like to have something like PEB. I didn't buy PEB because price and shipping is too high for me (I live in Croatia, Europe).

On Floppy controler I could connect Lotharek's floppy emulator.

It is interesting dream but is there any chance to make something like this? I know our hardware guys may have some ideas how to realize this.

Here is my collection of computers. If my TI goes beyond repair or there would be no TI users my choice would be Yugoslav computer Orao (in english Eagle). It is black and white, have 6502 processor and sound like ZX Spectrum. Orao is in 3rd row on right. Orao was produced in my hometown Varaždin

#3337892 Classic99 Updates

Tursi can you put xb2.7 suit in the classic99? There is RXB and REA and it would be nice to have XB2.7 suit.

#3313609 (Hardware) Project of the 'calendar quarter'

Posted by Manic1975 on Thu Sep 3, 2015 3:36 AM

Maybe we should try to build mini PEB. Something with 32k ( or 64 k) memory expansion and floppy controler to connect floppy or HxC floppy emulator.

What do you think?

I have receve CF7+ from Stargames and everything was OK.

#3284590 Only for 8-bit souls

Posted by Manic1975 on Fri Jul 24, 2015 8:56 AM

You have just an 8-bit soul? You should have used a TI-99/4A.

(Zero tolerance for 8-bit defamation! :-D  ... yep, sorry, could not resist ... let's not start over)

I love your post! :)

I couldn't resist! I just have to write it. I'am 8/16-bit soul (all that 6502, 7501, 8502, Z80, TMS9900, M68000 have mix my mind and soul :-o )

Please don't burn me!! :D
