    QuadTari

Here is a game concept which would be GREAT for the Quadtari: https://youtu.be/Xc23K3WrWNI
  2. Although, we should probably start a thread just on AE, I found these instructions on AE commands in my archive. ==================================================== -------------------------------------- The Crunchy Booger Dox Warehouse A.E. (312) 253-5952 P/W = "BOOGER" -------------------------------------- To get some basic commands hit #1 or #2 after booting up AE. SOME EXTRA HELP: "D" to dial (Hit "+" right after "D" to listen to call till connect.) "%" To get to INSTALL. It will configure your system to your needs. "V" to view a file <ESC> Will abort any file being viewed. "Y" is to get to the editor --------------------------- ! UP AND DOWNLOAD HELP ! --------------------------- TO DOWNLOAD: (take a file) "S" (then type the filename as it appears on the disk) then type "ctrl-Q" and "G" then the filename as you want it to appear on the new disk (insert a formatted 3.3. disk with enough space for the file and hit return), It may ask for the A.E. disk again, just insert it and do it again from "ctrl-Q" TO UPLOAD: (give a file) Its the same as downloading just exchange an "R" for the "S" and an "S" for the "G" (NOTE: The "ctrl-Q" is the same) <ESC> and "ctrl-C" to abort a file being transferred. ------------------ OFF LINE COMMANDS! ------------------ "J" to view a file on your disks "I" to change drives and or delete a file. "+" to receive a call "ctrl-Q" to break into chat mode if someone is on line "ctrl-Q" and "+" to break out of chat mode with someone on line. NOTE: You can use the off line commands when on line somewhere if you hit a "ct"ctrl-Q" first ==================================================== Note of pain: I just spell-checked and corrected the text from above that I wrote when I was 17 years old. Ugh!
  3. I ran an AE:TAC board called "The Crunchy Booger AE DOX Warehouse". It was run on a 300 baud Hayes Micromodem II. I housed all of the documentation of all the games. It seemed to me a less "target-able" offence than housing wares. I had a 10 meg Sider hard drive which was able to store the entirety of all game manuals, cheat codes, Hints, Walk-throughs, box plans, and general written papers by would-be journalists. I even have my original install disk for AE:TAC. I have uploaded a picture of it here. I also have the entirety of The Crunchy Booger converted from floppy/Sider
  4. Basic concept of the ORIGINAL MARAUDER GAME: Shoot the round orb in one of the rooms to finish the level. You can only see enemies who are within your line of sight There is also a temporary invincibility item you can pick up and walk through enemies. Personally, I like the game. It's like Berzerk, but different and a bit more fun. Less clunky The New version looks to be pretty much the same except tighter hallways which adds a much needed surprise element.
  5. I cannot get the beta to work in Win 7 (I know, I need to update) without adding a VCRUNTIME140_1.dll (which is missing) I saw someone in a video having the ability to delete roms from the menu. I figured the update might allow me that ability. I used the vanilla updater, but it never updated past 1.05. Question: Does 1.06 allow for the delete option? Question 2: Is there an automated process (external to the Harmony Cart) to delete all PAL roms? thanks, -Dino
  6. This is where I prefer to play Unholy!
  7. For the record, these auto switchers did not work. Looking for a different solution. .
  8. GF, It seems that the CC2 documentation is no longer available. It's been offline for quite a while. http://www.schells.com/cc2.shtml Can you share how to install the pokey chip without destroying the label? Thanks, -Dino
  9. Has anyone had success with inserting a 7800 in a 2600 shell? I am looking to have this done to my 7800
  10. In order to pay homage to the woodgrain as well as do the stained glass marquess some justice, I believe I'm going to redo the cabinet in this style:
  11. An updated list of (shall I call them) facts I have been able to compile about this project: The initial post in this thread is from Sat Jul 6, 2013 10:27 AM No completion date has been posted, expected or implied. There is no waiting list available and none is planned (you cannot "sign up"). You cannot prepay. Suggesting a "gofundme" type project will just make some people upset. You cannot sign up for alpha/beta testing. Progress will be posted as it becomes available (asking does not expedite things). We are seeing progress posts from the creator "Groovy Bee" from time to time. Plans *are* to have it finished. This project is active. Please be patient. Posting to this thread neither speeds things up nor slows things down (although it's suggested you keep your expressions relative to the project or something completely funny). You're not the only one waiting. There is a box! There will be 8 full and DRM free homebrew games :- Rocketeer Next Street CollectorVision's "Sydney Hunter & The Shrines of Peril" IntellivisionRevolution's "Copter Comand" M.D. (a mystery arcade conversion) Mystery contributor #1 "C.C.V.T.S.G.O.T." Mystery contributor #2 game +1 game (not programmed by me - more details soon) Music demos by Der Luchs and Mystery Musician A graphics demo by nonner242 Demos of other games and some utilities :- Pop-Tart
  12. Like,a brown paper bag box, or are we talking true artwork?

You're not the only one waiting. If you add up all the numbers on a roulette wheel from 1 - 36, that number will not be the number of days that the project will be completed. Rice is great if you're really hungry and want to eat two thousand of something. Am I missing anything?
  14. The banter above is the reason why the suggestion to subscribe to a thread in order to know when a release happens is not realistic. I come to this thread more often reading about unrelated topics such as Fruit Loops than any updates on the project itself. I'm not suggesting that we stop the fun banter. I think it's fun and keeps the project alive. My point is that for releases like this, I wish that there was a better way of only receiving updates on progress. Again, I'm not bashing the banter. carry on.
  15. Per your suggestion to "Follow This Topic", Unfortunately, I am now receiving multiple emails a day in my inbox for every reply to this thread. I was hoping that only posts by the thread-starter would trigger an email. Is there another option for those that want to be alerted of when the product is truly available or updates? OPTION IDEAS: An SSL feed from a webpage that you have on the development of the product. A Kickstarter page where we can actually prepay. A public Googledoc showing a spreadsheet of names and purchase orders. Thank you for this consideration, -Dino
