I must said that I'm quite impressed by all the work you did on this emulator 🙂. Being able to play almost any Intellivision games at full speed on a 67MHz hardware is nothing less than amazing. And having the second screen for the overlays is very cool and unique compared to other handheld consoles. I appreciate the effort you put in Nintellivision (not forgetting StellaDS, ColecoDS, I'm a fan of all your emulators in fact! ).

Was busy to play 2600 games but I could not resist to plug my ColecoVision console and test my brand new Risky Rick game cartridge to verify if I will encounter the bug. Fortunately, I was able to reach level 2 without any issues. For the record, I used an unmodified ColecoVision console WITH the SGM connected. Games that do not work on some consoles is possible and surely very hard to prevent. Even back, several 2600 games, like Kool-Aid Man, were not compatible on later revision boards. Talking about a diagnostic rom, I agree that it would be nice to have one. Granted, not necessarily provided by ArcadeVision.

I'm under the impression that it looks more like the game Crackpot (which is, like almost all Activision games, a very fun one) on the Atari 2600: http://atariage.com/software_page.php?SoftwareLabelID=111 But, yeah, it is kinda Kaboom in reverse

It happened to me with a copy of Super NFL Football. So I sent an email to David and he kindly explain me how the game could be fixed. It appears that a very small amount of these boards need to have the Option J3 point to be closed. One easy way to verify is to open the cartridge shell and take a look on the board. If you see something like the picture below (see the gap between the two little small squares) , that could be the reason why the game is not working. Normally, the fix is to solder J3 point on the game board. The solder is just to close the connection with a drop of solder. Yes, it worked with Super NFL but I believe your best bet is to ask to David just in case I’m wrong. He’s the expert for sure Hope that helps!
