  1. Is he even able to change the title? My old head thinks you need special approval to do that after a certain amount of time. That said, and I am really not known for beeing a non criticizer, tanuki handles all this here very well. Always polite, helpful and humble. Thumbs up from me for this guy.
  2. I got my controllers some days ago and I checked this Thread if there are any reviews... of course not. One single post mentioned he actually used the controllers, 95% of the posts are about the shipping/ordering and some few said "looks great, havnt tried it out" - sad to be honest, but business as usual. I start with the first impression too: Box and inserts look awesome and high quality. It came very well packed. The controller itself looks a bit stiff, but that is quite normal for current 3D Printings. Now to the actual product: All buttons work just fine. The Disc does support the "steering" mode in Pole Position, which was a pleasant surprise. The stiff look tranfers to the usage, the buttons and especially the Disc are not as smooth as the OG controller. This directly impacts the gameplay for some games. Especially games that need very quick and precise movement will suffer and are very hard to play with the controller. This doesnt matter for most players, but I think it would be impossible for me to get a highscore-run on games like Dragonfire. I would not recommend this controller for any "competitive" gameplay at all, cause it seems to be less responsive and doesnt allow smooth controlls. May this changes if the controller gets a bit worn down. But as this isnt the selling point of a "long play" controller this isnt a huge dealbreaker. And long play seems to be possible, cause especially the "side-buttons" are way less stressing on the thumb than the original buttons of the Intellivision. On slower paced 4-way movement games, like TNT Cowboy, this controller should work pretty fine. The clicking of the buttons and disc is a bit loud, but I also think thats hard to avoid and acceptable. So all in all its a good product and you see how much passion went into it. I would rate it with a B-, due to its limitations in usage. Its a solid and well made product. Special thanks to Tanuki, cause he handled the communication very classy and professional. Its nice to see that some guys treat their customers even than with respect and helpful behavior, if they are not completely happy. His answers were patient, calm and polite the whole time. So even if the road had some bumps, I am satisfied with the deal in the end.
  3. you seem to not have read the mail yet, so I ask here: Can you may provide me the tracking ID? It seems strangely long from France to Germany. And no bad feelings, but I think you need to restructure your way of communication. An automatic shipping notification with the tracking ID would safe a lot of questions and uncertainty in the future. it seems a bit messed up and confusing. I am happy when I get my controllers, but I dont think I will order again anything until you handle that a bit better.
  4. well... we had game programmers that not really cared to fix gamebreaking bugs, so... 🤗
  5. I dont think I ever have enough time to participate at full power, but just my thoughts: The whole competition sounds very complicated. Bonus Games, several ways of Bonus scores... I read through some threads and I have not fully understood what the idea was. Two games a month is TOUGH for many people who struggle to find some hours for one game. Its just an Idea, but I would try to make it more old school. We had one game for a month (iirc) and in that month players could share tipps and tricks. That also supports the Workshop-Idea, cause Players had a goal to achive. And the whole scoring system is maybe too complicated. Just give points to the best places and maybe extra points for a new record. But the options of getting extra points if you do this or that felt a bit over the top. I also struggle to see the point... if a player rocks a game give him the winning points, the new record points, the several "get X points" points... why? He already won, he maybe even got the record bonus, why give him so many additional benefits? Lets be real, this section will never be a fan favorite, most INTV guys barely play their games at all, sadly. So the system should be as shallow as possible without ruining the competition to lower the entry barrier.
  6. If I find a way to record my attempt I might submit a rund and we will see what TG decides. I think they are not that deep in games like Dragonfire on Intellivision, so it might go through then. That said, I am sure we get at least 40k+ if not 50k+ if its played with the current roster of players. Of course games are different, but Shark Shark 200k+ is NUTS, the game became unplayable for me at abour 115k and I only got points by having hundred lives to spare
  7. But it seems not correct to treat PAL and NTSC equally. The run on TG seems way faster than my run, which is due to 50 vs 60Hz. So I am afraid TG has a loophole there and PAL players would actually play a slower game. To be frank, I dont think its that big of an advantage, in fact it makes the first 10k points a real slug, but its hard to proof that and so there should be a PAL and a NTSC category. I consider to find a way to film it, cause I could easily get 30k+ scores again (my old AA record was 30.750 and I have three other 30k+ games on that event), but I doubt they accept, cause if they compare they see the difference. And to be honest, it surprises me they even think its the same, how could it be the same? 50 vs 60hz was always a thing.
  8. Thanks But as I said in the DM, I am sure monsters like @IntyFanMatt, @IntellivisionMaster or you could smash that easily. We had a small tournament last week and in fact another player also broke the TG Record, he got second with 34.300 points. So I would not be surprised if a competition here ends with 50k+ scores I played on PAL console, but with Controllers from Grips (console has RBY Mod and controller Ports mod), he made the arcade sticks. So I am not sure if that already would disqualify the game entry for TG. Would be a bit weird, cause I could wire them on INTV II and they would not even notice it probably.
  9. I havnt found a better score as my 30.750 in Dragonfire, so it might be still the record? If yes, I improved that some days ago, played on Easy: 35.200.
  10. I seem to have missed it, I thought I get contacted? Cause I am on the list, may my mistake, dunno
  11. Yeah, looks identical for me as well. Than thanks again to him for the opportunity, it's one of my favorite INTV Items and has a nice, cuddly home
  12. Thanks a lot, this time I will note it and put it in the box. And I bought it on Ebay, it was imo a steal, far, far below 100$, I thin it was 60ish or something like that, was very happy to find it
  13. As the titles say, I have signings that I dont recognize. On the Intellivision Lives I am not even sure if Number 4, 5 and 6 are one or maybe two persons ^^ I know that the 1 is Keith Robinson, the rest I dont know. Hopefully the hivemind can help me out here ^^
  14. to be honest, its very hard to keep track with the information I need and the information I dont care. Is it may an idea to make this a discussion thread and start a news only thread so people who havent ordered dont miss the reminder when they need to pay?
