a couple misnomers of nomenclature or whatever...

"MOVE D0, -(SP)"

instruction is actually a copy of the value at D0 into the stack,

and not a "move", per se, of the value from one location to the other.

Just so we're clear.

I wish somebody woulda told me!!!

Also, when "popping" a value FROM the stack, i.e.,

"MOVE (SP)+,D0"

it too, is copying the value, that is, erm, more specifically

the "value of the value and not the value itself..."

If it wan't for trial and error and necessity being the mother of invention,

sheesh!, I woulda flunked kindergarten!

speaking of the UltraSaint...

Wed May 1, 2019 8:28 AM

anybody know please why my UltraSatan, erm, (cough!) UltraSaint

does not see or accept any SD cards when inserted?

it is annoying.

this is the second one i had that fails to work this way!

thankfully though the SD card that it came with does work!  the one on the left hand side.

The original Xerox Alto Mazewar!

Fri Apr 19, 2019 11:10 AM

so this guy has recreated the original Xerox Alto Mazewar.

For PC and Macintosh.

Supposedly the very first first person shooter with networking play, etc.

Now with this minimalist tile based game I think it would

make such an excellent port over to the Atari ST!

Only the source code that's been released is way over my head.

Maybe one of us out there can do it!!!
