  1. Hi guys, I'm starting my Genesis collection, and I was wondering if you could help me identify authentic Genesis games. I mean, the only place so far I've been purchasing for Atari, Nes, GB, GB ADV and so on is ebay. Some Sega material looks so low quality that I suspect it's not authentic. I actually know how to identify an original cartridge, but what I'm worried about are stickers, manuals and above all the cover art of the box. Any ideas? I have in sight these games; and I don't have any clue if these are reaaaally original: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 181205669992 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 170962009929 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 181180859309 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 170960990070 Best.- Ezequiel
  2. I know this topic has been mentioned earlier, but I just can't get around this and I thought maybe someone could give me a hint.I have this DMG 001 gameboy, and I've installed the asm backlight. When I'm playing the display flickers. It also makes a lot of noise with the volume completly off (it's above normal, I know these things are noisy). What could it be? I'm not using rech batteries. Maybe a capacitor? I checked the electrolitycs and visually they seem okey. I've removed the backlight and the problems go away. I tried a different backlight and I have the same issues. I've followed best practices in order to connect the bl, avoiding the caps. I'm hooked directly to the power pcb. I'll attach some pics. Photos I've read 3,44v with the current connection, and the backlight disconnected. Bateries are 1.39v each now (have some use). Is that the right voltage range for the connection point? Any ideas?Thank you for your time Some pics of the thing
