  7. Byte Knight - Help! You upgraded my Coleco Flashback with all the extra games several months ago, and I am just now getting this thing hooked up and can't get it to work at all. I get a brief Coleco flash screen then it goes to a screen that only says "Welcome No Game Pads detected Hold a button on your device to configure, Press F4 to quit at any time." I had to send it back once already, because the HDMI port was not secure, but haven't had a way to hook everything up till now. No keyboard so no F4 so what am I supposed to do. I've pressed every button on both controllers and nothing happens. Forrest Nettles
  8. Hi Byte Knight! I have a CVFB ready to send to you for your upgrade! Please PM me or email me at flnettles@hotmail.com! I'm a Commodore guy so don't get on Atari Age too often except to talk about our Commodore Retro Expo event here in Vegas at the end of July. I hope to do this upgrade in time to display your unit at our show, please contact me! (I'm REALLY interested!)
  9. Hi Byte Knight! I've had my Colecovision Flashback for 3 years, and would love to get the modifications you offer! Where can I send it and how much $? (I'd really like to get it done in time for our Commodore Retro Expo here in Las Vegas on July 28-30th at the Alexis Park Resort. Would be awesome to put this on display at our show! Forrest Nettles President, Clark County Commodore Computer Club Las Vegas, Nevada
  10. Just a quick update - the Plaza is holding up our confirmation dates due to their (seemingly forever) construction upgrades. As soon as we know something we'll be posting new information! Forrest Nettles President, 5C's
  11. 5C's has received a donation of $2000 from an anonymous donor and the money sent to CBMStuff and will be combined with whatever additional expenses we encounter, to be provided by CBMStuff.com! I wish I could share with you the name of our latest sponsor, but at his request we are keeping that low key! So, we're on a roll, and CRX is HAPPENING! We're in current negotiations with the Plaza Hotel and will have our show dates confirmed very soon! (hopefully tomorrow!) Join us for the Best and Baddest Commodore Show ever right here in our home town of Las Vegas, Nevada! Best wishes, and see you all there! Read more on the Commodore Retro Expo forum on www.lemon64.com! Forrest Nettles 5C's
  12. Today, 1/21 we had our January meeting and it's official - by unanimous vote 5C's will not be taking part in CommVEx, and we will be holding our own separate event. Assuming we can book our preferred venue on July 29-30 we will be hosting CRX, Commodore Retro Expo along with Jim Drew. More details to be posted on www.lemon64.com. Look there for our CRX LAS VEGAS forum thread!
  13. Disregard the above request, I have matched up dues and donations to their generous sources! Thanks so much for supporting 5C's! Forrest Nettles President, 5C's
  14. Hello all! We had our pre-meeting this past Saturday and everyone present seems to be fully on-board with the new event/CRX plan! We will be meeting this coming Saturday to formally vote on this, and Jim Drew will be attending to talk to us and share his ideas for this event. I've gotten several new member signups but I need some clarification as to who is who as far as handles here on this board and actual names of our new members, and also people interested in signing up as 5C's members (for a paltry $12/year!) So everyone involved please email me at flnettles@hotmail.com with your names and handles so I can match up all the info I have coming in! Forrest Nettles President, 5C's
  15. Let's wait till Saturday, and maybe we can move or copy this thread to the C5Vegas.com message board if it's up and ready.
