  1. This is an amazing multi-player game. Would love to see more gametypes for example this mode in in Indy 500 but indy 500 also has tag. There is another game similar to this that I own a cartridge of but can not seem to find it and I forget it's name I think it might be called space something like space war but that turns out to be the wrong g game, anyway it is a real time turned based 2 player game very similar to this game and has all sorts of varations. One small flaw in this game that most people are not even effected by. I own the Le Stick (Motion controls with mercury inside) the ghosts graphs with it eye movements prevent the ghost from moving unless you get a precision movement as where the dog moves freely ( I have not tried the face yet) the eyes move before the ghost does and so the eyes of the ghost keeps moving while the ghost stops moving or shudders. When I played the dog and ghost prior to using the Le Stick I noticed the dog was better then the ghost and did a test side by side across the screen realizing there the exact same speed and I though I imagined it being different only to discover I was correct it is infact different once I used the Le Stick. It is so negligible with a joystick that is not actually a problem and if you have the Le Stick as I do just use the dog. Side note this is by far the best game to use the Le Stick on and is properly responsive as the controls are fluid as where most Atari games have rigged movements. If you have a Pair of Le Stick controls this game gets even better use the dog. Edit: I wanted to ask if this will ever make it to the Atariage store?
  2. Looking for name sujustions for this new controller. The ones I have shown off are not the final design there just new POTs in the normal paddles with really cool knows on top.
  3. At this time I am not sure what price I will be asking. I have had so much good help here that I will do for you as has been done for me in the past. I will make you a pair and ship it to you at cost beings your the first person to ask. Paddles before upgrading them cost (must find out) Thread protector (not protecting my the threads, a nice way to secure the ball knob in place) 40 cents (looking for a better solution) New potentiometer cost 50 cents USD Ball knob $5.00 Double the cost for the fact it is double the parts as it is two controllers in one $11.80 USD before the purchase of original controllers that I can probably get on e bay for $5.00 Possible total of $16.00 or so just for the way,I have mine. If your interested I will make this for you at the honest cost. This is most definitely not the final set and these are just a test. I grabbed my worse set of controllers that had noisy pots (jitter in game) as well and slightly busted plastic cases. The inner screws on both were broken and I had to fix them with glue in hopes the position were good enough to still screw in place. I did a good job of that as it worked out just fine.
  4. Original controllers plastic becomes brittle and the spinner breaks off. I want to make mine from metal no plastic parts. I want to add a button to swap the direction the paddle turns so if some one wants to flip the controls upside down it feels correct or when your playing warlords and a position feels wrong or when I myself am playing a 4 player game of breakout by myself the controllers do not feel like they swapped when I change between controllers (yes I play that way and have a video of it) I want to possibly add a other button to toggle between a joystick and the paddle so I do not have a bunch of different controllers for the system which. I may even put the driving controller in it along with the numerical pad. To top it off I want to eventually make it USB as well as Bluetooth so it can connect to PC or the ultimate emulation machine known as the Steam Deck.
  5. All this help has been amazing. I want to bring this to market. I wonder how many people might have interest in this.
  6. Really liking this though the ergonomic to the controllers here look hand cramping. I think I will keep the Atari method with a side button and go beyond that with specialized buttons o. Top that can not be accidentally pressed. Love the schematics here and will save time for me. Much appreciated. I want to provide people with a good product as not everyone is confident or capable of make something such as this.
  7. My driving controller died. The driving controllers from my experence never ever had issues and were always spot on with reliability and never became noisy or jittery and simply worked with out any issues ever. Just as I am starting this new controller project one of my driving controllers bites the dust. It is time for an upgrade. Expect these to be future made by me as well. Any sujustions are welcome or any of this? I will take it into consideration.
  8. I am building brand new Atari controllers from the ground up. Starting with the CX30 paddle controllers. I bought new Potentiometers and have swapped them with original controllers and then added new knobs. Future plans. #1Upgrade the potentiometer to be smoother then the 20 I already bought. #2 upgrade the plastic controller with a metal box. #3 add braided cables #4 make a sepeate line if the same product that is USB Compatible to PC #5 upgrade to Bluetooth and play kaboom! To demonstrate that if there is any lag if at all it is negligible. #6 same plans for the CX40 joystick as listed above but after all the above is accomplished. #7 combine both the CX30 and the CX40 into a single controller with a button that will swap between joystick and paddle. Willing to sell these to any ine interested. Turning these into HIGH QUALITY controllers.
  9. https://forums.atariage.com/profile/35187-shift838/ This is the guy who made me my 2 port 9-pin,USB adadpter
  10. I can try my hand at the PS5. Thanks for the idea.
  11. I am making a prototype of a new paddle controller and looking to sell them. The Atgames controller is too stiff and has a range that does not match well with the original controllers and many old controllers are worn out. 9-pin adapter is nice as I own the stelladapter which mine broke and is nolonger sold. So I bought a duel port 9-pin to UBS from here in the forums of Atariage. Works greate though as stated controllers are old and finding good ones is hard these days. I will be doing actuel 9-pin controllers first and if that's is good I will move on to USB and then I will try Bluetooth in hopes it's does not lag. Beings your asking, is there any features you might want while considering all if this? I have ideas in mind already but it would not hurt to get external ideas.
  12. I saw your 3D printed keyboard and I do not have a 3D printer and was curious if you were willing to help me out by 3D printing a peice i need. I am willing to pay you a reasonable compensation. I need a small part made. I can give you details and what ever info you want if your willing to help me.

Hi. There’s plenty of 3D printing services that will do that for you at a reasonable price. JlcPcb for example.

everything I have found requires me to make a CAD file and I have no idea where to even start with that. I do appreciate you getting back to me.

Oh so you need someone to do the CAD work for you? I'm sorry, I don't have the cycles for that. Not sure where to point you for that if you can't find something close to it on Thingiverse.

  13. I beat all the levels and found the text Easter egg which was cool and creepy at the same time. Love AtariBlast
  14. This is amazing. Is there any possible way this can be added to the real authentic console. I want to run this in a business atmosphere and wires are a problem at a lounge. Willing to pay!
  15. I gave away an Atari 2600 with 25 games plus a sealed copy of SpiceWare's Mideveil Mayhem, two joysticks, two sets of paddles and two driving controllers. I want children to learn the origins of gaming and how great these old games are. I done this once before at a different school and it was well received but this time I would like to take it further. I was in hopes I could get a group of people interested in making a game that uses different controllers threw out a full adventure. Something like Sword Quest where it is an adventure that leads to rooms and each room has a mini game that uses different controllers from joystick to paddle and even the driving controller. This would give an opportunity for children to have a chance at each controller type with out having to swap games. I also think this would be a great way to fulfill the dreams people have of a finished complete version of Sword Quest Water world. Sword quest series had amazing ambition the comic book with hidden clues for in game happenings is a great way for children to learn in the classroom and respect playing a game with a lack of instructions. Modern games are so linear and tell you every moment what to do and where to go. Sword Quest was always about your own exploration. As good as adventure was Sword Quest had far more ambition even though most of its mini games were lack luster some of them had HUGE potential and other were SPOT ON! In modern times everything about the game could be SPOT ON! I doubt there will be any takers as people who make games have their own idea but I would love to see a group of people band together and make this happen. It would fill the missing gap of driving controllers having only 1 game. It would fill the gap of Sword quest having its fall out and uncompleted waterworld. It would fill the gap for children to understand there is more to gaming then just graphics and I have shown many younger people these old games many like them but many more claim the graphics are too hard to look at. I really want to change this outlook as well as bring critical thinking back into the school environment rather then instant gratification. My goal would be to bring FUN & EDUCATION together. Which gives a idea of the foundation of map reading because a game like this could use a map but not in game but rather printed. Sorry I have no programming skills but I got the ideas.
