  1. Is the black & white picture clean and clear? or is it also snowy and black/white? if it's snowy then you may need to adjust the frequency adjustment in the RF modulator section. over time parts change value and may have drifted off frequency slightly. if it's clean then i would check the cap next to the cartridge port as suggested, I have also had this issue with the very first colecovision I owned in the 80's.
  2. but did you try an old school tv yet? it may just be the LCD tv causing the issue.
  3. if its under the metal cover then it's probably the transistor mod and the transistor has probably gone bad. try it on an old school tv first and see what you get, might be that your hd tv is just not compatible with the signal from the colecovision.
  4. Damned Pokemon Go has invaded my family and now I have no time to play my Colecovision. I have 2 kids and a wife that want to go poke-hunting everynight when i get home from work. anyone else got this problem, help me solve my problem. P.S. The entire house is Team Valor if you wanted to know.
  5. excellent job! received mine on saturday haven't tested yet but will soon. pokemon in my neighborhood have taken over my life for the last 2 weeks. lol
  6. contact 5-11 here in the forums with a pm. he might be able to take care of you.
  7. been looking but can't seem to find a good deal. I'll even do a dead unit as long as the crt is broke. I'd like it to include a controller if possible, that to can be broke. shoot me a pm if you have one to part with.
  8. great news! looking forward to receiving mine.
  9. if you look in the cartridge slot and off the right side is a capacitor that the cartridge could hit if it's in the wrong position. (brown disc w/legs out the bottom into the circuit board). if the cartridge hit it and broke, or snapped a leg off it will cause no color. something to check.
  10. maybe it's your f18a 2 different system, same f18a used in both units? if so then it's the f18a causing it
