  1. Or you just start shopping at 3:00 am on your phone from bed and buy a full blown setup that you don't even remember ordering the next morning. It's great how you can receive surprises in the mail from half-asleep impulse buying!
  2. I couldn't even manage to get the first version correct of a circuit board only a few millimetres wide (connector placement was backwards)! As someone told me, always think about what's next.
  3. I figured it wouldn't remain long, I was just teasing.
  4. Now, how do we get rid of the big red bar at the top of the AtariAge forums?
  5. It would be nice to have inexpensive POKEY replacements that just support stereo with no extras (just the ability to toggle between mono and stereo), which I suppose would be handled by the 10M02. I see the 10M02SCM153C8G for $6.46 USD in 25 quantity, and at 8x8 mm (M153), it's more compact than the U169 package.
  6. Now you have me wondering how well this Digium PCIe card I have here with FXS modules would work. It was designed to handle voice and fax. I'll add trying it out with some modems to my to-do list. You can pick these things up for much cheaper than a decade or two ago.
  7. A subscription? That seems a bit nutty. Guess I won't be able to use the source as an example for file access either. I'm not actually familiar with Android programming, just playing it by ear and figuring things out.
  8. I've been missing being able to run Colleen on my phone at all since as of a few years ago Google Pixel phones can't run 32-bit programs and there haven't been updated builds of Colleen in ages. So, I took to compiling it myself. I was able to get it to compile, in 64-bit, using a much later Android API level than it was written for, and it runs...but, file access is broken so I can't actually run anything besides booting into the built-in Altirra OS. I'm sure it all has to do with the security changes. I'll work on fixing it as time allows. Unless someone else out there has already done this.
  9. What was the NTSC compatibility issue? I've only used them in NTSC systems and didn't have a problem besides the unmapped keys. I look forward to trying them with the updated firmware.
  10. Alright, where's the 1088NUC+ PokeyMAX/FujiNet/SDrive edition with Bluetooth keyboard support?
  11. Ummmm...they're asking $308.99 for that keyboard. 😬 Also, it doesn't actually have a PS/2 interface, it simply uses an adapter like you could with most USB keyboards.
  12. It would be nice to be able to actually use these AKI boards, although, it turned out to not work out with the PokeyMAX on my 800.
  13. Just navigating some DOS's becomes a problem too.
  14. I reported the keymap issue to Lotharek on March 20, 2022, so I'm sure it will be fixed soon...
