  1. It looks real to me. The reproduction carts are usually Atari Brand cart shells. Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking?
  2. Thank you.... I have a friend from work that is taking it to a lab to switch out the buffer chip. I will let you know if it doesn't work.
  3. Disregard.. I just replaced the PIA and now it works fine.
  4. I just fixed a light sixer that wasn't functioning by replacing the TIA and RIOT. It now works but you have to push down very hard on the joystick for it to actually move down. This is on the left side only. If I replace the PIA, do you think that might fix the problem or is it maybe the actual port itself? Thanks.
  5. Not today's find, but some Xonox games I've gotten over the last couple months.
  6. Thanks for the offer, but I live in the Chicago Suburbs. Now I think I'll wait before doing it myself. I don't want my Heavy Sixer to be my guinea pig...lol.
  7. I bought a Heavy Sixer on ebay about a month or so ago, it worked fine, now I have the left joystick that keeps firing, even with no controller plugged in. I read some topics on the forums, and they said I need to replace the CD4050BCN buffer chip. I just got it today, as well as a soldering gun and a vacuum desoldering bulb from Radio Shack. I have never soldered, so my question is how hard is it to remove the old chip and put the new one on? Actually, just realized this should probably go in the Hardware Forum?
  8. I have been checking Craigslist and my local Bookoo everyday, and I came across this lot. I almost skipped it because most of the boxed games were fairly commons, and the last picture had these Avalon Hill games. I actually met the seller at his condo earlier today, and the first thing he said was, "You want the Avalon Hill games." He was an older guy, knew they had value, but didn't want to deal with eBay. He said the games were from his mother, who had Parkinson's, and she had them to help her motor skills.
  9. Hello everyone. I just started collecting Atari 2600 again since I was very young, and have gotten a lot of games within the last two months. I wanted to share my find today. I picked up a 4 switch with box, plus many boxed games. The real gems were three Avalon Hill games complete with box, manuals, even the warranty cards in excellent condition. These games are Out of Control, Death Trap, and London Blitz.
