  1. Oh golly, it works better than ever. Exact collision detection, screenedge detection, and the missile works perfect. Thank you so so so so much. I will study this code obsessively. The screenedge finally makes perfect sense to me. Thank you for your help.

  4. First post, first game. I started batari basic very recently. I downloaded all the examples, and they were awesome early on, until I started getting into missiles, where the code confused me, and everything started seeming more cryptic. The pinned example is weird considering I have to hold down the fire button to get the missile to fire, and I cannot figure out how to fix it. Using another example, I've gotten collision detection and movement for my player sprite to work, but the missile eludes me. I need it to fire straight down and only stop when it hits something else. Help, please? Extraterrestrial.bas
