  1. I own one these games and rather enjoy it. Also I think the artwork is just fine, the game play is pretty good as well. As for as someone saying people would rather the artwork be better than the game play are you serious ? I have been a classic gamer since the beginning of ATARI & INTELLIVISION and even though some artwork is better than others I much rather have great game play and that is why I prefer the Intellivision & the 7800 over the 2600 because most 2600 games do have great artwork but most original 2600 games suck to play. Do not get me wrong there are some great classics on the 2600 like Frogger, Qbert, Popeye, and most games made by Activision and Imagic but the ones made by Atari itself not so many good ones there. so now attack my post attack my handle (which is original and not stolen from a TV show or cartoon like some people on here ) I really do not care because this is my opinion and I have stated it and now goodbye again.
  2. very good point and no I do not have proof that any royalties were paid. I just figured that if the games were being sold on a web site that they are being sold legally. I will check harder on this before buying any more for resale thank you for your valid point. Like you suggested if a programmer wants to contact me and we can work something out I would be happy to pay Royalties and contact Albert or someone that can put their work on carts for me to resell I think your idea is great and I never wanted to do anything wrong thanks again.
  3. Thanks for your comment mnbvcxz . I have already decided not to change my name for 1 the person most disturbed by it seems to be just a cyber bully and all the games I have sold in the past and present have all been purchased from a seller that already has permission to sell them so I do not feel that I have done any wrong. I bought them from an authorized retailer/wholesaler and never hid the fact that I was going to resell some or even all of the games purchased. Some of these sites that act like ebay resellers are evil in reality know exactly what we or at least me intend on doing and even give a reseller discount. So all I have done is legally bought wholesale from someone else who has permission and already paid royalties to sell these games and as far as I know that is very legit and I do not call that leeching off anybody. I call that buying wholesale from an authorized dealer and then reselling retail wouldn't you ? But I would be more than happy to buy games direct from the programmer if he/she wants to have their creation put on cart and then sell directly to me cutting out the middle man.
  4. Not trying to be a butthead but I do think the only reason PADDLE PARTY did not sell well is because you William did not give it a chance you released the game and then shut your site down in like 3 months after the release or somewhere in that time frame and yet expected it to sell well ?
  5. No disrespect to William but his games are homebrews I mean isn't the definition of a homebrew game any game made after the system was taken off the market (after market games) ? But what ever you want to call them I say they are all great games and look forward to more to come from Elektronite.
  6. go to www.bestelectronics.com he has the cx78 joypad controllers for like 25.00 each and even has NOS games for the 7800. He also has other controllers available its worth checking out if that's what your looking for. I have one and the only problem I have is it sticks in the down position sometimes not enough to mess up my game play though.
  7. Well I guess I really should not worry as the fact is the owner of this site allowed me to join with the name chosen and it was not offending to him otherwise he would have denied me. I also would like to point out if not for E Bay there would be a bunch of classic gamers like myself who would never have known of homebrew games. I thank the sellers that sold some of their games on E Bay because otherwise I would have never knew of homebrews and would have never looked up AA , Good deal games , Packrat, or even Elektronite so its E bay sellers or resellers that help find homebrew publishers new customers you should be a bit grateful and not hateful to resellers as long as they selling more and more people who are themselves classic gamers will hunt the web to find out where to buy more homebrews. Thank you Matthew for your comment you and Theloon both have made me feel welcome on here.
  8. Thanks I needed that. But I still will change my screen name (as long as I am allowed too) as I was not trying to offend people.
  9. Ok I just sent AL a message so as soon as he responds to it and lets me know how to change my name I will and again sorry guys I really am a classic gamer and did not think about the name offending people my bad totally.
  10. Thank you for the suggestion and I really was not trying to offend anyone. I am trying to change my name but I don't see how you do that is there anyway you are someone can tell me where or how I change my name please?
  11. sorry guys really did not mean to offend anyone. I am trying to figure out how to change my screen name I don't see where you go in to in order to do that. some help please.
  12. I really do not know what your problem is. I am a classic gamer/collector but I do live on a fixed income and I have stated on a different thread that I do and have resold new, used, and homebrew games on ebay to help support my own buying and collecting and the fact that after I pay ebay fees paypal fees and get my original investment back I only profit between 3 to 7 on most games I sell so its not like I am out to get rich. I am not doing anything illegal as far as I know but if it offends you or any homebrew author I say sorry and just let me know what games you made and I will respect your wishes not to sell your games.
  13. besides on ebay I really do not see many older gaming consoles at local game stores or even thrift stores anymore. But I got lucky when I found my 7800 at a pawn shop of all places about 16 years ago the owner had a 100.00 marked on it but I asked him how long he had it and he told me he purchased it a few years ago not knowing how out of date it was and if I really wanted it he would take his original investment of 35.00 and it came with 10 7800 games in their boxes + 5 loose and over 30 2600 carts so taking your time and looking around can pay off. But now that you have one check out The AA store there are some cool 7800 homebrews.
  14. I was just reading the thread here and I know William at elektronite got permission from first star to make a Boulder Dash game for the Intellivision so I would not think they would turn AA down or maybe AA could talk to William and see if he could help with getting permission in making a B.D. Clone for the 2600 or 7800 from First Star. Just a thought
