I've used asapconv to convert SAPs to XEX for playing on my side3 loader, but since I have stereo pokey's I'd like to sort only stereo files, any software that manages to do that? Thanks!

What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?
Starfire replied to Ross PK's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
520STFM Motherboard to fix a 1040STF, which ended up being a floppy controller that I also bought on ebay so now I have 1.5 working ST's, the 1040 is complete and the 520 is just the motherboard but it works! If only I could find a case and keyboard. -
Any current USB or PS2 keyboard support for Atari ST?
Starfire replied to Starfire's topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
First thing I did, I’m not looking for mouse support, the only thing I find on keyboard support is the Eiffel board which no one I can find is producing. Found the opposite using a ST keyboard as a ps2 but I’m looking for opposite -
After all the work I've done to this 600XL, how great it is to listen to stereo pokey's, as a big fan of chiptune this brings a tear to my eye, especially knowing it's all being played on the original hardware. Some day I'll have to do this to my original 1200XL, anyhow it works great!

Ok great, I just ordered the PCB and went on from there, It's not that I wouldn't use it maybe in the future but for now stock is fine, at least I'll have the option. Thanks!

So I built one of these, but really only for the dual pokey aspect. My 600xl keyboard doesn't work with the unit plugged in, is this because it's only looking for PS2 keyboard. I have no interest in a external keyboard, is there a way to disable this, or least allow the internal keyboard to work. I erased the Pic but assuming it's still effecting the internal keyboard connections.

Just to follow up, it was indeed the floppy controller. Pulled out the WD one, socketed it and replaced with a VLSI and works fine now. I also received my second motherboard which also works fine, its a 520STFM anyone have a case and keyboard could turn this into a working unit. Interestingly enough this board had one socketed chip, again the floppy controller guess they tend to die easily.

So after thinking a bit, I thought to my self what would happen if I took my ST drive and plugged it to a PC. I pulled out an old pentium PC I have, didn't really hook it up just pulled off the side and plugged in the ST drive and guess what, it would at least keep running and spinning the drive. If I unplugged the data cable it would act just like it did in the ST. This definitely leads me to believe the fault is with the ST itself. I did look things over on the ST and noticed a small area around the 1,2,3 and 4 pins of the board side of Floppy connector has some solder mask scratched off and a couple of the pins were blobbed together a bit but it shouldn't make a difference, those pins aren't connected or just to ground.
