  1. RIP O.J.  Mixed feelings on this one...certainly a talent and a pop culture icon for reasons good and bad.

  4. Same! Hey all I've been on vacation, will get this updated and a new round up before the weekend! Round complete! Congrats to @tripled79 and @masematte on the wins! Updated HSC All time scores, next round up shortly!
  5. Consumer electronics is in a sorry state...all these formerly great companies (Bose, Nak, etc) now basically made headphones, soundbars and BT speakers.  Like we need more of those!

  6. RIP Emmet Walsh, probably the greatest character actor of all time.

      Well, he'd just quit smoking.

  7. The Retro HQ Neo Geo Pocket GD cart works great! Can anyone test the newer style Lynx flash cart from Retro HQ, the skinny/wedge shaped one? I'd really like to get some Intellivision/Colecovision controllers to use with this console. Anyone making these with USB connections, or would you have to poach them from a mini console kit?
  8. No luck getting my retro HQ SD cart to work with the Pocket with the Lynx Cartridge adaptor....bummer. I wonder if the newer model works? Anyone tried with success? On the upside....all actual carts I've tried so far work and man is it cool playing California games on the big screen while this is docked! Also confirmed save states work...which opens up a lot of possibilities on Lynx. Beating tough games, saving high score tables, etc.
  9. There is a Sega SG-1000 game called "Dragon Wang" 😂

That game can be really hard at times.

Then eventually, Wang changed his name to Johnson.

  10. Switch online free for two weeks for Mario day, just turn off auto-renewal.

  11. Okay great, thanks works! (Cumulative score) Yeah it does get brutally hard....it's been a few years since i've played it but I remember that!
  12. So for Cannon Fodder, can you only get a score for one round/battle at a time, or can you build a cumulative score across multiple battles? Trying to figure out the best way to score this for the HSC. Thanks for input all.
  13. TBH I hope they stay down. lol

      Mostly agree...
We already got calls to our Help Desk about "the network having problems" because people couldn't get to Facebook... ;-)
Not a huge fan of Socials in general, tho I do use it for support for things like my 3D Printer and some retro stuff...

      Why ebay too, @Wyluli Wolf?

  14. This is what they should have done...release a patch for each PS4 PSVR games to make them work with PSVR 2 tech. You know...for the 5 million people that invested in the first PSVR. How are people supposed to feel comfortable investing $1000+ in a PS5+PSVR 2 (whether they own the first PSVR or not) not knowing if the entire setup is going to be functional for only one gen. To be honest I probably would have STARTED with a PC VR setup, had I known PSVR would be a one-gen only device. Just stupid on Sony's part to do things this way.
  15. I never did wind up getting a PS5 and probably won't at this point. There are just no "system-selling" games that I'm interested in. The last couple of years I've been been busy with my Steam Deck, Switch, Analogue Pocket, and retro consoles....with a little PS4/Xbox One backlog thrown in here and there. I didn't get a Series S/X for the same basic reasons, minus VR. A VERY underwhelming Gen overall IMO. The main reasons? No new Uncharted or The Last of Us. Also....my fears were realized with PSVR 2. I went to the trouble of building up a sizeable PSVR library, and had the PSVR 2 been fully backwards compatible...I more than likely would have bought one, just to keep building on that library. But nope....what a waste, and I'm sure that has impacted sales numbers. Sony also pulled another Vita and dropped AAA development shortly after launch. This article is a good breakdown of everything that has transpired: https://www.ign.com/articles/a-year-since-its-release-sony-seems-to-have-abandoned-playstation-vr2 It's a shame because it is a nice piece of hardware...maybe opening up PC compatibility will be good for it/Sony?
