  1. Just to verify, mine does not have a leading '4' and has a different serial number sticker than was posted earlier:
  2. I didn't have any particular interest in the Jag, but I did have an interest in trying out all the systems I'd skipped over the years. There was a short period when you pick up Jaguar systems and games cheap at flea markets/garage sales/thrift stores. I bought my first set (boxed console + about 10 games) for, I think, $30 at a flea market and added most other games for under $5 each at thrift stores. Never found a JagCD, though.
  3. Could that yellow sticker be Clone Master? I sorta remember that as an Atari disc copier.
  4. Don't yet have a Switch so haven't played 4, but the wife and I both loved the first 3 and have played thru them multiple times. We still play the Bingo Battle from #3 occasionally as a quick head-to-head game. I personally like #2 the best for both the untimed cave segments and the final boss battle.
  5. Tandy owned the consumer electronics segment of Memorex at the time. Congrats on the set - I know you've been working at it for a while.
  6. Well, I have a picture label Flag Capture that I found in the wild at some point, but I don't have it in hand so can't say if it's 1986. Is it the year that makes it special or are all the picture labels from 1986? Since I never found another, I'd say it's rare-ish but definitely not in the single digit number of copies range. A quick ebay check shows 4 or 5 picture label carts sold recently, but it also shows someone selling that label as a "replacement" so who knows how many are legit.
  7. Gotta be this little 1-of-a-kind gem, and it's all mine. Bwa-ha-ha.
  8. What am I missing here? I'm replaying the original AW2 on a GBA and I can save at any time, including in the middle of a turn, and just reload the save at a later time. This lets me either undo a bad result or just pick up a game where I left off at a later date. Not as versatile as an Undo, maybe, but the difference is minor. Given that I already own the whole series, I'll likely pass on Reboot. Maybe if they actually make some new AW content, then I'll bite.
  9. Thanks for digging this up. Guess my Google-fu is weak. Seems a very limited use device, but I guess CD-i TVs were more popular BITD as this is unit number 007159. Or maybe they started numbering them at 7000 to make them seem more popular.
  10. What does this little box do? I found it mixed in with a CD-i lot I purchased years ago but never fully unpacked. The website www.touch-dvd.com gets no hits, and a search for Neuro Logic Systems brings up a company that makes displays for military systems. If I just go by the name of the device, it somehow "converts" the CD-i signal so it can then be recorded on a DVD? What sort of conversion is needed? Any suggestions?
  11. Sears picture label Superman is ridiculously rare, but most of the rest aren't too bad. I found them all, except Superman (which I didn't know existed at the time), in the wild back in the 90s, so they are around. Boxes and manuals, though, not so much.
  12. I mostly checked out this topic because it had positive things to say about the WiiU and I wanted to see how long it would take Tanooki to come screaming in here about what a lousy system it is. It's as pedictable as sunrise. He just can't help himself. FWIW, I still enjoy playing my WiiU. It's got enough good games to keep me interested and I don't really care that many have been re-released for the switch. That's like saying all the good Atari 2600 games can be had on the Flashback units so why would anyone want the original console?
  13. I went to the first one. Nowhere near as big as PRGE, though it is growing. And, FWIW, I went to PRGE before it was PRGE (or even in Portland, or Oregon, for that matter) and it started small, too.
