  1. A quick update with a few more strange observations: - When I plug in either controller via USB, it shows up twice - as a USB controller and as a Bluetooth controller. I can then unplug them and they (usually) stay connected via USB. - The range on both controllers is quite short - within 10 feet I notice a lot of lag and delay and around 18 feet they disconnect all together and won't reconnect unless I turn them off and on again. In addition to my first post, are these things normal? The laptop is old and has Bluetooth 2.1 so I might try getting a new 4.0 Bluetooth USB receiver and see if that helps, heck maybe even a USB extension cord and run it behind my couch to be even closer.
  2. Hi all, I'm running Windows 10 and recently purchased an FC30 Pro and NES30 Pro from 8bitdo. The NES30 Pro works fine both with Bluetooth and wired - though for some reason I can't upgrade the firmware (not that I really wanted to but still). However, the FC30 Pro has been a big problem for me. Initially, it connects via Bluetooth fine to my Windows 10 laptop. However, if I turn off the controller and turn it back on, it will reconnect for a split second and then disconnect - and the lights go back to flashing blue. I need to unpair the device and repair it completely for it to work again. Initially it came with firmware 1.71 and this one works the best. From their website, I see 2.00 and 4.00 and with either of them, it won't connect via Bluetooth at all (it will initially connect but then immediately disconnect). I've Googled around and found some links to their seemingly non-existent web forum. Some mention to upgrade the firmware (which I've tried and makes it worse) and others have suggested Bluetooth interference - but there are no other Bluetooth devices around. I once got it to connect to my Chromebook (Asus Flip) and it was able to turn on and off and reconnected just fine - but now it won't connect to my Chromebook at all. I was really looking forward to getting these controllers and while they are beautifully styled and feel good to use and I'm really disappointed that I can't fully use them. I mean, I guess it's not too much trouble to unpair and reconnect each time, but still, I shouldn't have to do that. Has anyone had any success with these, specifically the FC30 Pro? EDIT: I also am not sure on the charging... the NES Pro 30 flashes green when charging like the manual says, but the FC30 Pro doesn't (it either flashes blue looking to pair or once paired, breathes blue)... I'm not sure if that means it's done charging or something else. The manual unfortunately (for the FC30 Pro) is quite bad and has several mistakes and frequent bad English.
  3. I unfortunately don't have access to a volt meter but the adapter says it's 5.5 VDC. From looking around I've read that either 5.5V or 6V will power this. Strangely, when adapter is plugged in, it doesn't work - even if the adapter is not plugged into a power outlet. It seems just having something in the power plug on the unit causes it to turn off (even if it was previously powered on and working). Does it seem that something is wrong with the console or the adapter? It seems strange to me that having the AC adapter plugged in (but not to a socket) causes it to turn off.
  4. Hello all, I recently picked up an Atari Super Pong console and it came with a power cord. So I hook it up to my TV via the coaxial adapter and I plug in the power cord and the TV gets just static. When I unplug the power cord, the console works fine and the game starts up. After doing some research, I learned that this thing takes batteries and I found 4 working D batteries in the thing - but I'm not sure why using the power adapter would cause the console not to work. Even taking out the batteries and running on just power did not work. Any idea what might be wrong? One other thing I note is that on the TV itself, while the picture is fine, a lot of static noise comes from it so I just end up muting the TV. I know the console generates its own sound, but is it normal for the TV to play loud static?
