Not necessarily. I've got VCS and Apple II material not yet archived or documented.

The only way to be certain is play them and hope differences are visible. Or dump them to be absolutely sure.

If you are interested in selling these chips as you did your other finds in the past I'm sure you will find someone here on AA who wants them. Please make a thread with photos if you could.

  2. checked a couple of disks found them to be nice and shiney, no spots. Don't remember that far back but were the 5 1/4 floppies different densities? Was the drive compatible with different disk densities/ Thanks for your input.
  3. Still finding little remnants of old Atari in the barn. The latest find was a box containing four 5 1/4 floppy carriers filled with game files. The box came from a Atari surplus sale in the early 80s'. I don't know if the floppies actually have date on them and if the data, being stored so long, is not corrupted. I'll try and find a floppy drive to see if data is still on the disk. I have six photos so I'll post two at a time
  4. Is this just the control panel you have or is it connected to a large motherboard. If so, are there any identification markings on the motherboard?
  5. Atari had a big surplus sale in the early 80's, I think when their financial status was in the dump, I purchased several pallets of items I thought I could resale. I sold off most of the good stuff but There was quiet a bit that I then thought was junk and dumped most of it in the garbage. What little I had left I stored in my barn and was later sold at a yard sale. I am now slowly cleaning out my barn and finding a few atari items.
  6. Found this monster circuit board (about 12" X 20") with all the 2600 circuitry and 48 ROM sockets on board. Looks like it should go into a large console. "ACS DEMO" etched on board and a circuit board part number of A037751 on the board. Most of the sockets are populated with botk 16K and 32K mask atari roms. Anyone have any Info they can pass on? If I can figure how to attach a photo it might help.
  7. did not go through boxes yet but found a parts tray full of the chips. Date codes 1982. it's been a lot of years , can't confirm functionality
  8. Tossed all my docs containing probably every atari part no. Up to the early 1980s (first step in cleaning out my barn) but did not follow through trashing About 300 lbs of misc. Atari chips left over from atari surplus sales purchases (did'nt think about gold recovery back then).shoved them into a corner to gather dust for the next thirty years. A couple of hours ago I searched the word"POKEY" which I see on some of the ic tubes and it led me to this site. Was anyone out there smart enough to hold on to their 10" stack of aiari parts info ?
