  1. Hello all, first post here please forgive me for just jumping right in as I'm starting to get discouraged. I have a handful of arcades with three being Atari's, Asteroids Deluxe, Centipede and now Red Baron. I'm reaching out for some expertise in a situation I'm having with my new to me Red Baron upright. Seems as though since it's a rare-ish game I'm not finding a lot of repair notes online. Hoping there's an expert here somewhere to point me in the right direction. I do have a thread going on KLOV as well so I understand if this post gets ignored because of duplication. My RB is stating a Time Out error with the Aux board in test mode signified by a "T" in the upper right corner, see pic. In reg mode the game just flashes the beginning portion of the attract mode with the monitor spot kill cycling on and off, see video. I get no sounds entering into test mode and the controls are not responding either. I guess this is normal if the Aux board isn't firing up. This means I can't reset the EAROM to get rid of the 9 on the test screen as well. What have I done: I have rebuilt the ARII and installed a new Big Blue. My voltages are all good with my +22 and -22 at +24 and -24 for some reason. They're on the aux board, not sure if that's an issue or not. I've reflowed my board to board connector headers and checked the connector. It is a newer style I believe. I've checked, cleaned and re-seated all my socketed IC's, rams and roms. I've even swapped out my splice microprocessors on the Aux board as I had some kicking around. If there's any other info you need please ask, I like fixing things but this one is beginning to worry me a bit.
