well i never ever had prob wiht brad in a long time hed would even bring my stuff over with him back in the day of big comp shows so id not pay carrige but he probaly get lot of time waster wich cost him money and time

i did this years a go piked on up in cambrige at boot fair new in box at time other was asking brad from best computers to try to get them one from states any way i cut a bit out of an well dead 600xl this was the osc that i needed plus then change gtia and any other atari custome chip for ther later version from xl/xe haked in the nice littel bit of pcb to right places and chged mod was firs pal one tah did not need multistandars tv but most moder set should be mulit standra now

mm good one her on happy depends if you have a genuine happy of copy and ther was load of copys even ones done on nicly eched bord that looked real a pic of front would be nice as there used to be a write protec stystem as well used as well as a version i had seen a few of wich used a eprom with swiitchable happy/810 archiver/happy/and stbd 1050 os amd 3 wat swich would swich between difent os in drive

had a indus for a few months did not like as much as a 150 with supper archiver fitted so sold at compuetr fair for healthy profit

ok well i now im years laet in this but soory not touched an 8 bit for god nows how long the 2 mods on 800xl are cupid printer inteface and contoller board both used to be sold by computer house the later printer port was ever a 6821 or best a 68b21 pia chip both of these look pretty sad ripoff of real thing and iv seen quiet a lot of others work an bady copys and ahd to re worked yes mr fern if your reading even your repirs oh best say who i am most old 8 biters new me as a part of lace (london atari compuetr en) so if you ever find a 320 xe wiht cupid and 2 nice clear led probaly one of mine same as 256 xls
