  1. Sorry for bumping this thread from years ago but i wanted to know if the Jungle Guides #1 and #2 we're released as PDFs? I would love to have them for research purposes, especially since the #1 issue has a interview with Mario Perdure
  2. An unreleased Nintendo 64 Game just dropped today!
  3. So, way back in 2014, do you guys recall Piko Interactive unveiled plans to bring the MS-DOS Freeware RPG Mysterious Song to the SNES? Time sure heck flies really fast huh... Rafael Daniel, main programmer of the SNES conversion, has announced that work on it is now nearly complete and has entered the testing phase before launch. https://www.timeextension.com/news/2024/04/snes-port-of-2000-freeware-rpg-mysterious-song-is-finally-nearing-completion I remember the first time i came across with this game after watching the excellent Turbo Views review of the TurboGrafx CD homebrew version. I later learned back then that the team who did the TurboGrafx CD port also has plans to bring the game to Ouya, Xbox 360, and even the Atari Jaguar but neither version was released, which is too bad as the Jaguar needed RPGs like this in it's library back in the day. Oh well... https://web.archive.org/web/20180402084415/http://eponasoft.blogspot.fr/p/faq.html
  4. I didn't noticed that Rich Whitehouse talked about version 1.1. of BigPEmu on Twitter. I read his post and looks like his medical condition has taken a serious toll on his health. It's a miracle that he managed to release v1.1 in the state he is currently. I really, really wish Rich the best for his health and his family. He really is a great fellow 🙂👍
  5. It would be really cool having that gmae on the Jaguar too. Really decent Rastan Saga-like Game to boot
  6. I know that having Tempest 3000 being re-released on the Nuon is very cool, but no joke i would absolutely love to see a new version of Tempest 2000 with the unused tracks that were left out due to memory constrains
  7. Well, it's time folks! Let BB know on which platforms you want to see Xeno Crisis after the SNES version
  8. I played it yesterday and it's a decently fun albeit brief ride. This was made by the same author who did Overcooked on SNES. It initially only available as a cartridge linited to 100 units but now the author has released the game for free on itch.io! https://www.timeextension.com/news/2024/03/rare-snes-game-dottie-flowers-is-now-available-to-download-for-free
  9. Since we're talking about a RPG in this thread, have you guys checked out this news? I'm sorry but even i as a fellow Jaguar fan there is no way this game Will be possible on the console, but anybody can prove me wrong otherwise. This honestly sounds more like a $#@¥post to me XD https://www.timeextension.com/news/2024/03/jrpg-breath-of-thunder-could-come-to-the-jaguar-saturn-n64-and-reads-notes-virtual-boy
  10. I hope he can pull ahead and make a proper recovery i wish him the best
  11. Sorry for bothering but i noticed that it's not available for download anymore. Is there anyway to re-download it?
  12. I think it comes from here: https://archive.org/stream/Gamefan_Vol_3_Issue_03#page/n109/mode/1up
  13. I've been wondering what has been of Rich Whitehouse? I hope he is doing well even with the baggage he carries
  14. Well, now we know thanks to the work done by XProger that a 3DO version of Tomb Raider was doable but by that point, the 3DO was unfortunately a lost cause with the arrival of Playstation, Saturn and Nintendo 64.
  15. We now have proof thanks to former Tomb Raider programmer Paul Douglas (thanks to XProger for spotting this info nugget!) that both the Jaguar CD and the 3DO were considered as possible platforms for the original Tomb Raider but it seems that the team did not have dev kits for both systems. Somewhat weird, considering that Core Design were making Soulstar, but my theory is that they had access to only one Jaguar dev kit and that one was already being used on Soulstar.
