  1. Interesting; thanks! I'm assuming that Doug (and others who were programming games for the 2600 in the late 1980s) was using assembly language?
  2. What software and hardware was used to develop games for the Atari 2600 in the late 1980s? Games like Solaris and Ikari Warriors.
  3. I don't know, but this is the first time I've heard about it, and I'm wondering if it can convert PAL-NTSC. JVC's webpage on it doesn't say.
  4. I'll look, but even if I don't find anything, thank you so much for posting this video! I LOVE learning about the history of the gaming industry! I think this video was made in 1982. Good grief, I was 5 years old! My older brother and I got a 2600 for Christmas that year.
  5. I know that PDP-11s were used in the late 1970s, but by the late 1980s, I'm really curious as to what computers Atari 2600 game programmers were using? PCs, Macs, or something else?
  6. In particular, Battlemorph and Hover Strike: Unconquered Lands. Although Iron Soldier 2 got a cartridge port, I don't know if Battlemorph or Hover Strike would fit on a cartridge. Still, as someone who will probably never own a Jaguar CD unit, these are two games that I'd love to see on cartridges!
  7. Is it a Framemeister? I’ve heard that other SCART to HDMI converters are pretty bad, and will eventually break.
  8. Is the video signal in a 6128plis easier to convert to NTSC? I don’t want to spend the money for a Framemeister.
  9. I dont own a Framemeister, but Im interested in the GX4000. For video, could I use a SCART to composite adapter to convert the signal from PAL to NTSC?
  10. True. I'll just stick to playing on my CRT TV. I'll always love the PS2, though, and the other 6th gen consoles.
