Apparently, it's been shown off for a few years, so I'm surprised I haven't ever seen it before. I think it's neat! On their preorder page, things do get a little weird, though. Apparently, you need to give them their email for a launch discount...and the website doesn't even tell you how much it costs beforehand. Still, I want to see more of this concept.

That sounds really odd. If this guy is being truthful, then he probably received a fake message from some prankster. When you play a standard DS game on a 3DS, the system boots into a standalone "DS Mode", and you have to reboot the system before you can go back to the 3DS menu. I have no idea how Nintendo could tell someone is using a bootleg DS cartridge!

DotEmu has just announced that they are collaborating with Tribute Games (Mercenary Kings, Flinthook, Scott Pilgrim) to produce a brand-new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for PC and "unspecified consoles". Neat idea! I do see a problem, though: a lot of AA's best sellers are unauthorized ports or remakes. We might need to get selective!

Y'know, I remember this game from the Vita (yes, it released there, too). Didn't catch my attention during gameplay, unfortunately.
