    PAL60 ROMS

Here in this entry https://forums.atariage.com/topic/193459-pal60-roms/?do=findComment&comment=3201559 i had put together all of the PAL60 ROMS of the first 10 pages of the thread. Together they were 202 ROMs in this archive. Then you just need to browse the pages behind it. "Sub Scan" and "Gas Hog" are already in the linked archive. "Polaris" not, so far. ------------------------------------------------------------------ And one thing more. A good PAL60 version of "Zaxxon" would be great too. There is one in this PAL60 ROM-archive, but this one runs faster, than the normal NTSC-version of "Zaxxon". Maybe one of the PAL60 ROM-creators can take a look at it?
  2. I also found some problems in the meanwhile, when i tried "Gauntlet 3". The game don't start correctly.
  3. Thanks laoo. I will try out the 32-bit build of V0.6.1 in next days. Looking forward, to finally trying out another LYNX emulator than Handy. I like Handy, but having a good, or even better, alternative is very good.
  4. Understand. Nice, that the right, the quoted person, answered now. Was für ein Glück für mich, oder? 🤓
  5. I have not written to you at all, but you seem to have felt the need, to answer twice now, when i always quoted "laoo". Strange. And if i could built it by myself i would already have done it, but so far i have not compiled anything.
  6. First of all - thanks for the efforts, regarding the 32bit version. I also get a virus-warning from my system and then I ran the file through "VirusTotal" online and this was, what was shown to me: Of course, as "Nop90" already wrote, this can also be false positives, but that's why I haven't dared, to try out this 32bit version yet. Maybe it's the compiler, that's no longer completely up to date? This could also be an explanation. What do you think "laoo", are these definitely false positives? I just want to be sure, before I start this new 32bit-version. And I wish everyone here a Merry Christmas! A reply after the christmas feast days, is completely sufficient.
  7. This game should really be finalized, it's a superb Pac-Man version, even across systems!
  8. Very nice. 👍 I have a real Lynx (the older and bigger model), since it was released back then and just discovered this emulator today, because i didn't knew, that there exists another Lynx emulator than "Handy". Of course i wanted to try it out immediately, but sadly i have a 32bit system (Win7) and if i try to start it, i only get the message, that i can not run it on my machine. Therefore i wanted to ask, if you could release a 32bit compatible version of "Felix" too? It would be really great, to have another Lynx emulator, because updates for "Handy" are also very rare and some newer released Lynx-demos, no longer work on it. One of my friends told me, that they work on "Felix". 😀

    PAL60 ROMS

I see. Then it won't be possible unfortunately, to implement it with a tool that works automatically. At least not for most game-roms, but maybe for a few. Too bad, somehow.
  10. I haven't been here in a while, so the reply is a bit delayed. Sounds interesting. I am such a big fan of the Atari-2600 version of "Phoenix", that I've been waiting for years, for someone with programming-skills to port this version 1-to-1, either to the C64 or to the Amiga-500. But really 1-to-1 in terms of graphic and playability, because no changes are necessary to this game. There are a few good ports of other Atari-2600 games to the C64 so far, but always completely reprogrammed, even if some of them have the graphics almost unchanged, to the Atari-2600 version. But an emulator, with which you can use all Atari-2600 game-roms directly, would of course be superb, for use on the C64 or the Amiga. I guess, the Amiga with 7MHz, should be technically fast enough for something like this, while i am not sure, if the C64 with it's 1MHz is it too? Actually i'm a bit surprised, that there isn't such an Atari-2600 emulator for the Atari-ST yet? Maybe this is more difficult to implement than expected and you really need faster systems, on which the emulator then has to run, to have a really good and faithful emulation in the end? Maybe you could somehow expand your current emulator, so that certain Atari 2600 games, can use their original graphics on the C64 too? Or is such a technical conversion of the existing emulator, associated with too much effort?
  11. Interesting. One question. Would it be possible, to run, for example the PAL-version of Atari-2600's "Phoenix" with it's own graphic on a C64, or is the C64 to slow, for something like that? I ask, because the hardware, an emulator runs on, must be alot faster (10 times as fast for example) than the emulated hardware itself, so normally one would think, that a C64 cannot do this, at least not at full speed and when the Atari game should exactly look on the computer, like it looks on the console. I guess, even a Amiga-500 with it's 7MHz, will have problems with this, or am i wrong?

    PAL60 ROMS

There are really alot of PAL60 conversions in the meantime, but on the other side, there is also a really big amount of games, for which there is no PAL60 version yet. A tool, that can automatically find the color-palette in a PAL or NTSC game-rom and then accordingly replace it with the other in each case, would be superb. But it will probably be very difficult to implement something like that, i guess, because often more than just the colors must be changed and some of these PAL60 versions here, were made out of NTSC roms, but some others out of normal PAL roms and these two production-ways, then differ greatly when creating a PAL60 rom, right? A question for the programmers here - is there a chance, that at least one of these two paths could be automated by a tool, or are all the game-roms too different from each other, that a tool could do this? How is the chance? Can anyone say more about this?

    PAL60 ROMS

Hm? But you searched for PAL60 roms and in this linked Atarimania-archiv you will not find these.

    PAL60 ROMS

I did this eight years ago, look at page 11 here in this thread, my entry from 20. March 2015. Almost all files, that came out until then, are included there. Individually, you only have to download those then, that came out in the thread afterwards.
