#3783409 Removing Yellow on XE/XEGS

Posted by thetallguy24 on Tue Jun 13, 2017 3:15 PM

From a quick search:

How to remove yellowing from an old Atari case

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I saw that, but again, my big concern was although it would remove the yellow, would it return it to close to the original gray or would it make it to light. The guy in that thread says, "I tried some keys off a XEGS, but results were not so good", so I'm a bit skeptical.

#3391901 Converter Box for Atari 2600/7800

Not sure the point really, unless you're bent on using an HDMI or composite only monitor. All TV's have the coaxial RF in that you can directly connect your Atari to via a simple adapter:

...still, that little box looks like a nice alternative to using a bulky VCR to do your converting (to composite) and looks like it records to a thumb-drive as well? Could use it to record yourself playing video games to enter high-scores for Twin Galaxies.

Well I need to connect it to a PC monitor. They don't have coax inputs.

Mine would be Tank Pong in Complex Maze with Direct Hit. What's yours?

#3236743 Wall Ball rarity

Posted by thetallguy24 on Tue May 12, 2015 8:44 PM

Just got a copy of Wall Ball with the manual for next to nothing. Its in excellent shape. I've never heard of it or played it before this.

I see it on Ebay where people are asking sick amounts. Is it really that rare or are mentally challenged people selling them?

#3219476 Arcade vs. Home Console: Which would you rather play?

Surprised you'd rather console NBA  Jam, though.  That's a favorite on my MAME.

I like the way you can use the turbo with the shoulder button on my SNES. Plus, I grew up on the SNES version.
