  1. I can confirm my 2600+ has this issue with California Games. I do not remember if it behaved like this prior to the update, but I have had instances where simply turning the console on/off a few times will correct the problem & scrolling & music are normal speed.
  2. That's cool that your USB drive is recognized, have you tried loading aa ROM? How did you access the full options menu? For me, pushing F1 only pops up the save state menu. The other F keys didn't seem to do anything other than load/advance/save the current save state. ESC returns to Cart dumper screen then crashes. Seems like there is a custom configuration being used because the hotkeys do not match the Stella wiki defaults.
  3. Hey, you're right, I didn't notice at first. Also MAME & a few other older DOS emulators used same GUI styling. I don't think 2600+ is using retroarch though.
  4. I just tried my "Hyperkin Trooper 2" joystick with the 2600+ via OTG cable & it works as P1 just fine, the only caveat being although the left fire button is mapped to P1, the right is mapped as P2 fire button. The "start", "select", LB & RB buttons had no function for 2600 or 7800 games. The controller (at least this one) had no "B" button functionality for 7800 games. I tested using Choplifter.
  5. I can't send a link because It's something I've had laying around for about ten years or so. In fact, it was a micro USB OTG, & I had to use an adapter to USB-C, lol. Any OTG cable should work. It should have one male & one female USB-C connector, & one female USB-A connector. For those not familiar, it basically adds a USB-A socket in-line with the USB-C power cable.
  6. Anyone else discover that if you use a keyboard via an OTG cable on the 2600+ and type "F1" you can enter the Stella save state menu? However, It seems that because Stella only recognizes the cart dumper as a single game (regardless of title), all games will share the same save state slots. The upside; there are 1,000 save slots, so you can still save each game to a different slot (you would have to keep track of them on paper). My recommendation would be to skip every 10 slots so you have multiple slots for each title, that would still leave you with enough slots for 100 unique games. Also, "P" key pauses any game, arrow keys & "A" & "Z" are the FIRE buttons (for 2600). All seems pretty standard. I still have yet to try, but the OTG cable might also allow for using USB game controllers as well (most likely D-input devices). FYI - Hyperkin sells the "Trooper 2" Atari style USB joystick with added buttons.
  7. I do prefer the left-side thumbstick. It feels more like a traditional controller. I would like a mirrored version. When I use 2600 joysticks, I do play right handed however.
  8. Could you please export these to actual .STL format? The models in the zip files are in .f3d format. I am using Blender which doesn't recognize them. It would be better to distribute them in a more universal format as well because some slicing programs, (like Cura), do not accept them either. Thanks.
  9. could someone please explian what the jumper functions are? I assume the 2x3 is a ICSP for programming the AtTiny85 (I used Arduino Uno as isp to program mine).
  10. Interested to know if it's possible to replace the splash screen/video? Might be cool to put "The Fun is Back" TV commercial clips/snippets in it's place. Would it be the same process as stock Android, or is there something proprietary from AtGames preventing it?
  11. Kinda sad that the contemporary "retro" gaming community has become more about "look what I can buy" rather than "look what I accomplished". I miss the tinkerers, programmers, artists, & composers that chose this as their hobby because it was an outlet for their creativity, not a status symbol or reflection of their affluence.
  12. I also might add that Stella77 is updated fairly frequently, (thanks devrs), and if someone is unwilling to go through the simple update process themselves; they will soon have an outdated OS.
  13. By no means in a hurry since I'm still enjoying v6.4, but I wanted to know what any plans for 6.5 with high score saving were? Is that Atarivox only support?
  14. I was planning on making the shell a little thicker so it prints cleaner without supports. I was also going to add a (unofficial) logo, &/or rainbow stripe. I can try to add a lip & incorporate "snap" clips for assembly. Thanks again for letting me utilize your design, I will post it on this thread once it is ready & I have a pretty print to show off :-)
