  1. This may be a silly question, but do you have the right eprom in the Geneve to boot from a Scsi? Isn't that version 2.00?
  2. Both of my Scsi cards are set for that, the setting has worked fine in the past for my original, and from @humeur's pctures the one I bought from him was working fine with that setting. Now I have never tried booting from the Scsi, as I was not up to date on the process and file. Need to repair a peb box to try them again.
  3. @JJB Here is my first build. Just have to figure how to program it.
  4. Try to set the CRU switch 1 off 2 off 3 on 4 on 5 off 6-7-8 on. I know on my WHTScsi that is 1200
  5. That's what I get for typing after midnight when I should be in bed snoozing away. Btu Tahts okya.
  6. I just bought an Officejet Proe 8710 from a local thrift shop for 5 bucks, still has some ink, especially blank ink. I just purchased a full set of the 3 colors and black from Ink Technologies for about 55.00, not sure. Haven't installed them yet but the printer in a power house for scanning and printing black. I also own a HP Laserjet Pro MFP M476nw that I got on clearance at Office Depot for 150.00 in 2016 that was a great machine till I ran out of toner and didn't have money. Finally a couple of years later I get some toner from Ink Tech above and replace, but find out I have an issue inside that is preventing the Printer from printing, keeps saying it's jammed and shows to clear it, but there is nothing there. After some research I found it is a common issue, but you have to go into the machine to fix it, and I have hesitated to do so. But when it was working greta photos or anything. Oh @InsaneMultitasker, donate it to charity and claim the deduction.
  7. I can see agood use for this in a portable ti. Could use an Ide, Scsi, or both.
  8. @chue you beat me to it. But yes there is this one, of which I have built 3 and slowly working on a 4th. But the author @JasonACT has stipulated that these are not to be sold for profit, so you must build it yourself or find someone willing to build it for you at cost. There is also the APEDSK99 by @JJB, and I do have some interface boards that can be built, but it needs a Arduino UNO and Ethernet/SD shield to be functional after you build it. It is also talked about here on Atariage. Then there is one called the ti994a-rom-grom-ram-and-floppy-emulator talked about here that is a build it yourself board. I've done a protoboard and am currently waiting for some PCB to be shipped to make the interface to the TI. When I get those and determine that it is a viable option then I will release the Kicad files to the universe. So yes there are other slightly cheaper options and some are probably in the works right @speccery?
  9. Looks like someone is already removing caps from keyboards! https://www.ebay.com/itm/204745327069?itmmeta=01HVJ3BQ3ES0ZYKFF908B751HJ&hash=item2fabc5c1dd:g:K-UAAOSw0JFmHXms&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA4JU3v8zXLQfq%2FnWULpBPXTZhUe%2BiX4iUUgsB4IAmyUBTpu3gxXWL4xrZX3kpkq8dHGmuf8Ha%2B8P%2BfsmYunFNsg1Ta%2BvLW1HTWi50%2Fm2hJaKnymI6QUJIQTIFwsptAxQg1Nd3c%2FHEQdiB4okcUuC4%2BZIS4O6enxU0jd0vxPCcm6FbNmateRPQnlQJOluNjkj%2FrTjKMftOF76B53iV6GqrUdduplr%2BWKT0I%2BBRGgaijCGvaRinnz64Th9yrV0D007gKogJNyjTowdWp%2FPD8laZtAKnjQskPSQag9n3mzkZTrOG|tkp%3ABk9SR_DxrsPcYw
  10. Once you've verified the prototype, let me know how much you want for one. Like the IDE card I'd like one bare board of each, prototype and production.
  11. @JJB the pins on the odd side were actually quite easy to put in place, and if the risers and sockets had not been there, the even side or top would not have been much worse. With the fingers, the 4 GND pins on the bottom odd side are already connected to the ground plane so those can be omitted as seen in the photo. I don't think, if it's done differently that it would be much more labor intensive than the stand up pins on your design. The hardest part of the top pins, was laying a length of shrink tubing cut length wise and clamping it with a few pins to hold it in place, so I could solder the rest, to prevent shorting the bottom pins. The shield clears everything and stands about 2mm out of the risers and I have not added anything to it yet as I haven't read through your documents yet. It does have a six pin ICSP on next to the micro SD slot that I may have to remove and place an angled connector there. Also two of the UNO's I am getting are supposed to have WIFI ansd I believe Bluetooth, so it's be interesting to see if these can be utilized in the process.
  12. Here are some pictures of my first APEDSK99, red in color. I haven't gotten the UNO yet because for some reason when I ordered some UNO copies from AliExpress they were shipped out then returned to the vendor before they even left for America. The vendor wasn't to helpfull, didn't seem to understand my questions in regard to why did they get returned. I cancelled the order and reordered from Ali. We'll see. Notice the wires connecting the fingers to the via's, I put everything else together and it made it difficult to add the wires to the top of the board, next time I'll do the wires before placing the sockets and risers. I tested the IS61024 as a 61512 on my minipro and it passed so it is compatible, and maybe later the additional memory can be utilized somehow.
  13. Okay, thanks. I actually don't have enough experience with Kicad to know that there may be a BOM file in there somewhere. You have taught me something.
