  1. Hi everyone, thanks for the interest, questions, and PMs. I'll respond to everyone in a bit, and I'll also take more pictures, load the games up, etc tomorrow too. Unfortunately I've been under the weather this week, have to work Saturday as well, and have a ton of stuff to finish for an indie gaming convention on July 1, so I've been extremely busy and stressed. So tomorrow I'll take more pictures. I've been living in Taiwan for over a decade, and I found the games here locally. I found another t-cart around 2014, I am guessing these carts would have been manufactured here. Regarding the NTSC versus PAL situation, I assume they would be NTSC, but I'm actually not sure. How would one go about determining this? I'll take abs upload some videos too, tomorrow, with gaming footage. Regarding cash versus trades / partial trades, I primarily only collect odd ball machines (Super A'Can, Game King, Gamate, etc) and Famicom /Famiclone/bootleg stuff anymore, but I have more or less a full set of licensed Famicom games. I know some of you guys have some really massive collections too, so while I suspect that there won't be anything I need, who knows, anything's possible!
  2. I've got a pair of lovely t-handle Atari carts up for grabs, Karate and Condor Attack. Can and will take more pictures too. Carts should be working, though I'll confirm and take pics of that this weekend too, gotta hook up my Atari clone. I know these are rare, and I've seen the ones listed on ebay, though I know that those prices tend to be inflated a bit. If interested in these please send me a message and an offer, and we can take it from there. I don't post on AA much, but I am a long-time collector who has been around since 1998 or so, wrote several gaming books recently, and have a solid reputation. Questions are more than welcome. Thanks for checking these out!
  3. Hi guys, Thought someone here might be interested. About a month ago I found 23 sheets of Frogger stickers, brand new. I listed them on my shop page at the link below, if you are interested please order directly. Any questions please feel free to ask. Thanks! https://www.maliscash.com/product-page/vintage-frogger-stickers-1981-new
  4. What is Mali's Cash? Mali's Cash is a gaming and cultural magazine, designed by myself (fcgamer). The magazine primarily focuses on Famicom / NES through PlayStation. It is a bit Famicom heavy, but I am making a conscious effort to add content about other machines too. Our focus is on unauthorized games - so anything from modern homebrew / indie games, to old pirates, to game hacks are all fair game. We also include some small cultural articles about life in Taiwan, have a monthly hororscope section, beer picks for the month, etc. For those interested in gaming perspectives from a dinosaur that has been collecting and documenting stuff for years, this might be an interesting magazine for you, and my staff is always working hard to try to improve the content of the magazine for our viewers. Changes for November (Issue 4) and Future Issues The first thing to note is that we decided to remove most advert pages from the magazine. Originally stuck in with the idea of giving Mali's Cash a reminiscent feeling of magazines of old, after some reflection it just felt as though it was a waste of space, which could be better served with more content. We'll still include an occasional advert or two, and the one on the back cover stays, but the vast majority of pages will be solely content. Availability of Issue 4 (Two Venues and an Electronic Version) A lot of people asked me about purchasing the magazine off of Amazon. I decided to listen and the magazine will be offered on Mag Cloud as well. The Amazon and Mag Cloud versions of the magazine are not identical - some things have been formatted a bit differently, but the content is the same between the two venues. I'll eventually upload volumes 1 - 3 on Mag Cloud as well, and although I personally don't recommend it (it's basically just a PDF file), an electronic version is also available. That wasn't my vision, but if it encourages more readers, then okay. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BMT22S9L https://www.magcloud.com/browse/issue/2361841 I believe this is our best issue yet, followed by #3. The first few issues were experimenting a bit, but I think we've started to figure out exactly what we want to do. Availability of Issues 1, 2, and 3 Probably at the end of the year, or at Chinese New Year at the latest, I will remove the first three volumes of Mali's Cash from Amazon and edit them, before relisting them on Amazon and then also on Mag Cloud. Here's the skinny: apparently Amazon doesn't want advertisements in their self-published products; similarly, some of the content we feel is a bit of a gray area in terms of causing copyright issues. The Secret Life of Mario series will be removed from future volumes. While discussing the hacked games I think is fine, my approach at discussing them is a bit too literary and could be viewed as fanfiction or something, rather than a strictly factual discussion on the games and their content. This could be a problem, so they've got to go. So if you want original versions of the first three issues, before the changes come along, grab them NOW! Changes will be made as soon as I have the time. 5. Holy crap! My site had defaulted to Taiwan Dollars when I set it up, but when I changed the currency to US dollars it just kept the same numeric value, instead of converting the currency. Oof! That shipping definitely is NOT accurate, I just fixed it. Really glad this was pointed out. I added several more cartridges tonight though, and for larger orders I can arrange things to combine shipping even more.
  6. Hello everyone! I set up a little online shop, known as Mali's Cash Bar. It can be found below: https://www.maliscash.com/ From here on out, I will be listing my stock solely on here. I stopped selling on forums about a year or two ago due to tax reasons, plus I just don't have time anymore to go back and forth on forums, maintaining pictures and lists across several different platforms. So this website shop helps to automate some of the process. I'll try uploading new items on a regular basis. Thanks for checking out my shop. I am still tweaking the site itself as well, but figured I'd post it now in case anyone sees something they are interested in. Be sure to check back often!
  7. Here's some pics of what's inside. Sadly the Amazon preview is garbage.
  8. Hey everyone, I finished up the first volume of a book series about unlicensed and bootleg Famicom games. The first volume features information about basically all of the Taiwanense-developed Famicom games, from companies such as Sachen, Bit Corp (Puzzy), Hummer Team, etc. Please feel free to check it out, and thanks in advance to anyone that buys a copy. https://www.amazon.com/Family-Bits-1-Dave-Allwein/dp/B09X5QWB74 Sorry about the price, we can blame greedy Amazon for that. As such a niche topic though, I think it's a pioneer book, and I hope to release the next volume (about Famicom multicarts) this summer.
  9. Bump! Inventory updated, please message me if something catches your eye All prices are negotiable, and if you need feedback, I can provide you to my accounts on Video Game Sage and Famicom World, which I frequent much more often.
  10. Thanks for the comments! I think you are right regarding the "Hitler" game being Operation Europe, I always forget the name of that one despite looking it up time and time again. Ambition of Caesar, I have no idea why it was officially localized, I wouldn't have thought there would be a huge market appeal in Taiwan and Hong Kong. In addition to Volleyball, I think I remember stumbling across one more Master System game in a Mega Drive cart. I don't remember what title though, maybe it was Bubble Bobble. About Smash Court: It should just be the Japanese version of the game, yet was officially imported into Taiwan (and elsewhere) for sale.

Two of the wireless controllers are missing the battery covers. These clone controllers are made by companies such as HKC, Tiger, Ending Man, and Subor. No idea if these are working properly or not, I'll gladly test them out if you're interested in buying. Video Game Scraps - $20 There's some Famiclone boards in there, half the shell to a Bit Corp Atari 2600 clone, etc. I was keeping this stuff for parts or art projects, but never got around to it, so let's clear them out! LOTT Famiclone Lotto Art Set (10 Games) - $30 When I received all of these games, they were labelless, so I decided to affix some old Taiwanese lottery tickets to the fronts, as I enjoyed the artwork. Each of the labels corresponds *somehow*, even in perhaps an obscure way, to the game inside the case. There's a lot of fun games in this set, and it would be a blast for whomever purchases it to enjoy the surprise too. "Broken" Famiclone Set - $30 This set includes 15 games and a machine, two controllers. The machine possibly works, but it's a cheap modern clone and I don't have the right power supply to test it. The games I couldn't get running, but with more cleaning or on a different machine maybe they WILL work, I just can't be assed to deal with it. PCB Pack - $20 You get all of the PCBs in the two pictures, all are for Famicom games. A lot of these work, some don't. ***MACHINES*** Q.Q. Bear TV-Game = $25 This is a small, sleek Famiclone from the early 2000s. Although the set came originally came with two controllers, but unfortunately this set only has one. Also included is the pack-in 128 in 1 cartridge, which has some game hacks on it IIRC. Dancing TV Game - $12 This is actually a Famiclone, made in Thailand. There's a cartridge slot on the side where you can plug Famicom cartridges into it. The machine also has a built-in unlicensed dancing original game. Tiger Famiclone - $20 The quality of this one sits somewhere between the modern Famiclones (poor quality) and the old clones (excellent quality). The hardware should use a NOAC inside, but the plastic is of good quality. This Tiger Famiclone was made in Thailand, and IMO the selling point is the machine seems to use the exact same mold as a legit Sega Mega Drive, even the compartment on the side opens! ***DISKS*** Mukashi Banashi - Shin Onigashima - $5 Untested, sold as is. Professional Mahjong Goku - $5 Untested, sold as is. ***SUPER FAMICOM*** Six Games Lot - $12 Smash T.V. - $30 There's some damage on the box, looks pretty good though. Includes box and game, legit Japanese version. Rushing Beat - $30 A licensed Super Famicom brawler, this one comes CIB. ***SNES EXCLUSIVES AS SUPER FAMICOM VERSIONS*** NBA Hang Time - $10 Bootleg game. NBA Hang Time was never released for the Super Famicom, but as you can see, this bootleg version was made for Super Famicom machines. Sort of neat! image1 NBA Hang Time - $15 Same as the above, the game was never released on Super famicom but here it is, a Super Famicom version! This one also includes the game manual. ***REGULAR BOOTLEGS*** der Langrisser (A) - $25 Bootleg game for Super Famicom. Includes the box, cart, and manual. der Langrisser (B) - $25 Same as above, though a different copy of the game. ***NINTENDO 64*** ***TAIWANESE VERSIONS*** Pilotwings 64 - $20 This is the official Taiwanese (ROC) version of Pilotwings 64. ***JAPANESE VERSIONS*** Tamagotchi World - $5 Kirby - $5 ***SEGA MEGA DRIVE*** ***BOOTLEG CARTS*** Unknown Title - $5 San Guo Zhi (Three Kingdoms) - $7 Top Gear 2 - $5 Adventures of Batman and Robin - $15 ***MULTICARTS*** 3 in 1 - $10 Golden 10 in 1 - $12 Super Sports 10 in 1 - $12 Boxed Mega Drive multicart. image1 image2 ***UNLICENSED ORIGINALS*** Action 52 (Taiwan Version) - $25 Gunfight 3 in 1 - $35 Feng Kuang Tao Hua Yuan - $25 Feng Kuang Tao Hua Yuan - $25 Poker Club 6 in 1 - $50 One of the few 16-bit unlicensed games that Sachen would make, this one is a Poker game. Haven't investigated too much, possibly contains nudity. Virtua Fighter 2 - $20 Unlicensed original for the Mega Drive. Bubble Bobble - $35 Very nice unlicensed original of Bubble Bubble for the Sega Mega Drive. SoulBlade - $20 Unlicensed port of the fighting game of the same name. Power Rangers - $25 Unlicensed original Power Rangers game for the Sega Mega Drive. ***LICENSED GAMES (TAIWAN VERSION)*** San Guo Zhi (Three Kingdoms) (Official Chinese Translation) - $25 Ambition of Caesar (Official Taiwan version / Chinese Translation) - $40 This is one of the few games that got an official Chinese translation for an official Taiwanese release. It's sort of an odd pick, the other game being Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which I also have for sale in this thread. ***LICENSED GAMES*** San Guo Zhi (Three Kingdoms) - $10 NBA Jam - $10 Got NBA Jam years ago on NA from Splain as part of a Secret Santa, then found this copy years later locally, as part of the Changhua Storehouse pedigree. As I don't need two, the gifted one stays, and the storehouse one goes. Phantasy Star: The End of the Millennium - $10 Found this locally, but I already had one oops! image7 image8 ***UNOFFICIAL CHINESE TRANSLATIONS*** The "Hitler" Game (Operation Europe) - $15 I remember looking this up before, I think it's Operation Europe. Everything has been translated into Chinese. Nobunaga no Yabou Haouden - $15 This is an unofficial Chinese translation of the Japanese game, Nobunaga no Yabou Haouden. ***MASTER SYSTEM CONVERSIONS FOR MEGA DRIVE*** Volleyball - $35 Rare Sega Mega Drive cartridge containing the Master System Volleyball game! ***BOOTLEGS*** Curse - $15 Bootleg game for the Taiwan market. Has a nice little instruction sheet in Chinese. Phantasy Star 3 - $15 Bootleg version for the Taiwan market. Shadow Dancer - $15 Bootleg version for the Taiwan market. Yochi - $15 Bootleg version for the Taiwan market. Gaiares - $15 Bootleg version of the game for the Taiwan market. Includes a manual in Chinese. ***LICO CAI SYSTEM*** Lico Cartridge - $15 ***PLAYSTATION*** ***ASIAN VERSIONS*** Smash Court (Asian Version) (Sealed) - $35 This is Namco's Smash Court for the PlayStation. As the sticker shows, it's a Japanese version game that has been officially distributed in Asia, as an Asian release. This item is sealed. ***UNLICENSED GAMES*** Dance Dance Mouse - $25 This is an unlicensed original PlayStation game. You will need a modded machine to run this. ***PLAYSTATION 2*** ***ASIAN VERSIONS*** Death by Degrees (ASIAN VERSION) (SEALED) - $30 ***JAPANESE VERSIONS*** Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (no manual) - $5 Ridge Racer V (no manual) - $5 Gungriffon Blaze (no manual) - $5 ***XBOX*** ***ASIAN VERSIONS*** Crimson Skies (TAIWAN VERSION) (SEALED) (NFR) - $30 Sudeki (TAIWAN VERSION) (SEALED)* - $15 *This one looks like it somehow got water damage under the seal, with possible growth. Would be great to send in to WATA for a low number prank! ***NEO GEO POCKET COLOR*** Ogre Battle Gaiden (CIB) - $30 Gals Fighters (CIB) - $80 Samurai Spirits - $25 Melon-chan no Seichou Nikki - $12 Melon-chan no Seichou Nikki - $12 Melon-chan no Seichou Nikki - $12 ***GAME GEAR*** ***HTH GAMES*** HTH 4 in 1 - $25 This is a Game Gear game manufactured by HTH. They were a Taiwanese company that took Sega Master System games and released them on Game Gear. This one has four games on it, Hang-On, Astro Flash, Great Baseball, and Pit Pot. image1 7 in 1* - $18 Submarine Attack - $18 The Strider - $18 Great Basketball - $12 These are all highly collectable Sega Game Gear games, published by HTH of Taiwan. These games all are conversions of the Sega Master System versions. *Includes Michael Jackson's Moon Walker, Captain Silver, Tri-Formation, Kung Fu Kid, Astro Flash, Spy vs Spy, and Action Boy. ***LICENSED JAPANESE GAMES*** Magical Puzzle Popils - $100 Licensed game for the Game Gear. The front cover is bleached and there's some small damage to the manual; however, things overall look pretty nice. Huge discount on this one due to condition, it's a steal! Sonic 2 - $5 Yuu Yuu Fighter 2 - $5 Batman - $20 Sailor Moon - $18 ***GAME BOY / GAME BOY COLOR / GAME BOY ADVANCE*** ***UNLICENSED ORIGINALS*** Water Margin - $25 Unlicensed original game, Water Margin is based on the classic Chinese novel of the same name. Pokemon Animal Garden (?) - $25 Unlicensed original, IIRC it's Pokemon Animal Garden or somethijng like that. Interesting title as it has Pokemon in it, and the game is new old stock (might have some shelfware though). Digital Monster 6 - $20 This is an unlicensed original game for Game Boy. Unfortunately, I can't get it to run! But it's really rare, so I can't just pass the contents over for free, maybe a placeholder for someone? Digimon 3: Crystal - $15 Sachen 8 in 1 - $15 ***UNOFFICIAL CHINESE TRANSLATIONS*** Pokemon Gold (Chinese version) - $25 Unofficial translation of Pokemon Gold, translated into Chinese back in the day. This one was sold to me as new, though it has some shelfware. San Guo Zhi (Three Kingdoms) - $25 Very nice bootleg of Three Kingdoms, translated unofficially into Chinese. The manual for this is also entirely in Chinese, and it is thick! Very high quality. Pocket Monsters Emerald (Chinese Translation) - $12 Pocket Monsters Emerald (Chinese Translation) - $12 Pocket Monsters (Chinese Translation) - $6 ***MULTICARTS*** Rockman 3(?) and Yuu Yuu Fighter Multicart - $15 The box is not in the nicest shape, iirc the two games are Rockman 3 and Yuu Yuu Fighter. ***BOOTLEGS*** Street Fighter Zero - $5 ??? - $5 ***GAME KING*** Game King Games - $5 each [The first cartridge is a multicart with Seafight, General, Soldier, and Sertercel.[/] The second cartridge is a single cartridge of Sertercel. ***COMPUTERS*** Dream of the Red Chamber - $30 Here's a PC game based around the awesome Chinese masterpiece, Dream of the Red Chamber. There's some spotting on the manual, though the package doesn't smell particularly musty or moldy. There isn't any cardboard insert for the box, the one I have for my own collection is the same way, suggesting that the company may have just cheaped out on costs at one point. I like all the artwork in the booklet. Star Wars: X-Wing vs Tie Fighter - $25 or best offer This is the official Chinese version of the game. No idea on the value, but computer software from this era is really hard to find over here. Sadly the package is missing one of the CDs, so it is being sold *as is*. IBM / Apple II / Other Joystick - $10 No idea on the value on this, have no way to test it either, as this is definitely out of my personal area of expertise. Maybe it's a steal, maybe it's junk, that's for you guys to decide. ***VIDEOS*** Kirby Cartoon DVD vol. 1 - $15 For those who love Kirby, this might be for you. Its a DVD set containing four (4) disks, of Kirby cartoons. This was licensed by Nintendo and Hal for the Taiwan region. Pokemon VCD (A) - $10 Nice little VCD of Pokemon, officially licensed by Nintendo, for the Taiwan market. Pokemon VCD (B) - $10 Another nice little VCD of Pokemon cartoons, for th ***WII*** ***OFFICIAL TAIWANESE VERSIONS*** Wii Sports Resort (Taiwan version) - $5 Sadly this is disk-only, but it's the official, localized Taiwanese version of the game. Wii Fit - $12 Here we have Wii Fit for the Wii. This is the official Taiwanese version of the game, has the box and disk. Super Mario Galaxy 2 - $35 This is the Taiwanese version of Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the Wii. Included is the box and disk. ***HU CARDS*** ***BOOTLEGS*** These are bootleg Hu Cards. Some of them look like they have some corrosion and what not on the pins. I do not have a machine to test these on, so they are being sold *as is*. The price for one card is $35, take all four for $110. These are rare and unique, so I personally believe that they have value, whether they are functioning or not. I don't mind hanging onto them but as they are duplicates, I thought I'd offer them to everyone here too ***WONDERSWAN / WONDERSWAN COLOR*** SD GGeneration Gather Beat - $5 ***OTHER*** Rakuraku Dinokun Virtual Pet - $20 image1 Not sure if this is an official Japanese one as the package suggests, or if it's a knock-off. Brand new, though I tested it to see if it worked, and also removed the battery. MiWi - $10 This is one of the various MiWi variants, it seems to have been imported (made?) by a company about twenty minutes north of me. The machine works, there are games built inside, the only problem is I don't have any controllers to pair with this one. Frogger Stickers - $10 Authentic, MIT (Made in Taiwan)! Old, Yet New Pokemon Model - $15 Here's a fun little Pokemon model dating from around 1997 or so. Brand new, waiting to be assembled.
  12. Hello, and welcome to my shop! I try to list things as accurately as I can, but with so many items sitting around my house, it's easy to miss something along the way. So please ask questions if you have any. Also, as a lot of these items are not common to find, it is hard for me to price them. As such I am willing to consider offers should you be interested in some items, but feel the price is too much. Trades can also be considered. Shipping of 1 - 2 carts is about $5, worldwide. Basically you're stuck in a hellish trippy club and need to escape. The stages get weirder and weirder as you go along.
