    I can't explain how much happy I am! That's a fantastic news! I had started the reverse engineering of my ds990 but is a big work.. Now we have schematic! Thanks so much for sharing

    Somebody found the operating system? I tried to contact several times times in the last year John Hnatowych (FB jhnatowych) who was the only one known that have all the original floppy but him don't answer any more...

    I own the same configuration ds990/1 fd1000 omni810 but I miss original operating system. I was able to run some floppy of 771 but it seems not completely compatible in floppy writing. It fail for example, the IBM exchange utility. Excuse me for my bad English, I'm Italian :-)

    Thanks a lot! Fixed!!! It where just a couple of ram with addressing problems. I havent' test them properly, i was stupid... but I'm really happy now!! I just need to make boot floppy.

    I found one ram with addressing problems, now "IDLE" and "EXEC" are on on keyboard but I/O processor still in reset and black monitor. Somebody can tell me if before to boot from floppy should I see a cursor on monitor or should be all black?

    Fix it will be an hard run for me... Processor on CPU board (the one with speaker) seems to be running but no beep form speaker and no one led is on on keyboard . I/O processor unit which have roms onboard is held on reset. Monitor is black.

    Yes, those are the two board with TMS9900, CPU and I/O Controller

    Hello everybody, I recently got a DS990 Model 1, Double Floppy FD1000 and printer. I'm desperately searching for schematics but without success. I already look in bitsavers and other sites. On my VDU Controller ( diagram 993422) U25 and U14 seems to be missing. If somebody have same card may let me know which IC are on those places? Thanks!
