  1. Jim, Thanks. I got it from arcadeshopper. Gregory Mcgill, do you know what version I might have? Cheers!
  2. Bought my hexti-r a couple of years ago and now that I'm retired, I've had some time to play with it. It seems to work fine on various load and run programs. The clock program and fopstest.pgm run fine. I have a couple of issues when using Memo Processor. I can save a file from MP. When I load the file from hexti-r, MP hangs with IO showing on the cc40 screen. If I power cycle the hexti-r, MP un-freezes and the complete file is loaded. If I try to save the same file again, MP asks to overwrite the existing file. I enter Y to do so and then MP replies with "device does not allow writing file". I'm not sure if I have the latest firmware or exactly how to update it. In anycase hext-r is quite an achievement.
  3. Here are a bunch of programs for the cc40 that will run off a hexti-r. They are from thw whtech ftp site. There is a lot of info there on the cc40. cc40.zip
  4. I finally got around to playing with hexti-r. What a cool device! I may be a little dumb but the only way I could get the setclock.pgm to work is list and edit the year=, month=, etc. lines and run the program. Is that how it is supposed to work? Works for me. Are there any recent firmware updates ( after 2020 I supose)? How do you do that? Video of clock running: https://youtu.be/6KqP3gpBKoI Great work Gregory Mcgill and Jim Brain!
  5. Having a ball with TIPI. Infocom and Atari games are working. Mega Menu, Finalgrom, and ForceCommand are a hoot. I purchesd and installe the eprom for the TIPI PEB board and every thing works as usual. I notice there are now files in my TIPI disk directories that are /sectors. What can I do with them. What new features do I have to play with and mess up? Inquiring minds want to know.
  6. Thanks! I'll give it a shot. I love everything that TIPI does for the TI. In some ways the fun factor surpasses my Commodore 128 rig which I also use every day. ~Bob
  7. Thanks for the quick replies. Right now it is the Infocom disks from whtech's ftp site. They work properly on 1100.dsk1 but the loaders fail on 1000.dsk2 Same with the atari collection of games ( although they load just fine idividually with forcecommand on 1000.dsk1. For nostalgia reasons I would like to keep my floppies in the mix, but I have a couple of shoe boxes of diskes that I'd like to pu on the tip "hard drive". Too bad we can't change cru on the fly. I have included my tipi log Cheers! TIPI.mhtml
  8. Please pardon me if I am being thick. I have a PEB system with TI 32k, TI disk controller, TI rs232 and TIPI. The TIPI is set to cru1000 and the TI disk controller is fixed at cru 1100. Everything works great except for some games and programs that look for dsk1 always at cru1100. Is the only way to achieve full compatibility is to set thr TIPI at cru11000 and ditch the floppy drives and TI disc controller? Thanks
  9. Thanks. I upgraded my tipi to 3.4 and MM works great!
  10. Successful upgrade to 3.4 and Buster! With MegaMenu and ForceCommand's ansi telnet, oh the things I can do. What a terrific combination of talent that came to bear on our old TI. Well done!
  11. Good to know. It's not bad to start fresh every now and then. Thanks for the great work!
  12. Will an sudo apt dist upgrade work to get to 3.x? Thanks!
  13. What a cool program! I have a hybrid tipi/ti disc contoller system and forcecommand allows me to use both floppies and tipi's file system an d most things work for me. Too bad there is not a way to easily change the cru on the TI disc controller. I also must say that your telnet program is one of the best even at 40 columns. I can use it to maintain my raspberry pies as well as it being totally usable on my unix shell account. Well done! Having ansi functionality is a must. I wonder if sometime it would be able to have 64 columns like the tipi telnet client? I don't have an f18. My system: Silver console ( I am the original owner from 1983) PEBw/ TI Disc Controller TI rs232 TI 32k TIPI Thanks again for ForceCommand!
  14. I just stumbled across this and your program is amazing! Thank you. I'm sure to enjoy this for a long while.
  15. I like the inclusion of TIPI's drive mapping status in the web gui that came with the latest update. Well done!
