  1. Since you're making hundreds now, please count me in also. I would also pay upfront if required.
  2. My cart did this at first and had a file called "game" in each slot but I think I was caused by me manhandling it. Try giving the contacts a clean, turning the rotary dial a few times and connect everything carefully and straight trying to avoid touching any contacts or metal parts and connect the USB to the computer last.
  3. Thanks for updating the image converter, its very handy
  4. I had similar trouble with 512Kb roms, if I ticked remove header only, they ended up being 1024Kb, if I ticked the 512Kb mateos option and remove header, they ended up at 512KB but didn't work unfortunately. 256Kb roms worked great with the utility. I came to the conclusion it was most likely user error. I managed to get the 512Kb roms working using the foolproof converter provided by Mateos so give that a shot. http://www.vectrex.hackermesh.org/alynxconverter/
  5. This cartridge is excellent thank you jfmateos, I can burn 256Kb roms, I am struggling a little with 512Kb though, I managed it once so its definately me. Just for confirmation, using GadgetUKs handy header remover, I need to select "remove header 64bytes" and "512Kb -> 512Kb (Mateos Flash Card)"? Then I move the switch to 512K on the cartridge and copy, do I need to select slot zero or slot 8 or doesnt it matter? Thanks all
  6. To check the voltage you need the dpad ribbon cable connected, a game inserted and batteries or a dc power supply. Mine read 4.5v.
  7. I think the watches are 2005ish, there is a post about them here http://atariage.com/forums/topic/77844-fossil-asteroids-watch-biggest-pos-ripoff-ever/ Hard drivin always has a queue of people waiting to play when I have a BBQ. Everyone stalls it first time.
  8. Hi all, thought I'd share my Atari collection. first up, some limited Fossil watches, I think these were a massive flop in their day, acquired them all on ebay for as low as £15 each to £70 The latest edition, an Atari Lynx, broken on ebay, just had some gunk on the dpad ribbon cable. Now with McWill's excellent LCD mod. Finally my favourite ebay acquisition, a Hard Drivin' upright arcade machine! £120 delivered. It needs some tidying up but all in all, everything works very well. It has a bit of screen burn but not very noticable when it gets going. The force feedback is a bit of a monster, incredibly accurate with lift off oversteer.
  9. Thank you for making this LCD mod McWill, it is truly brilliant. I used a cat 5 cable for the wiring, a cheap soldering iron and a desoldering tool and took my time. The only part that slowed me down was checking the voltage, I didn't realise I needed to reconnect the dpad/buttons ribbon cable. My batteries ran out and the screen faded to white, I thought I'd been fragged it was so bright.
