I have tried to unplug both controllers, but unfortunately the problem seems to be some chip inside like the other guys suggested

Hello guys, I have an issue with a Colecovision. The console is brand new and never used, and was stored for the last 20 years. I had to sell it so I opened it and tested it. As you can see from the video I uploaded, the console turns on but then no game select screen appears, basically there's not even boot time, and the demo of the game starts almost right away, then it's impossibile to select the game and play. ciao sono Moro di Faenza (RA), mi sono iscritto ieri sostanzialmente perchè cercavo un aiuto per un problema tecnico ad un Colecovision, comunque il sito lo conoscevo da tempo. Qui dentro credo di conoscere solo Marco Miccoli... Oramai ho venduto praticamente tutto della mia collezione di retrogames, per il momento tengo solo materiale Intellivision e Nintendo (e anche qualcosa di Vectrex, che sto decidendo se vendere o no)....sto vendendo le ultime cose per Colecovision anche. Adesso vado a chiedere aiuto per quel problemino! ciao ciao Moro
