  1. go through this sellers list to find some interesting atari st stuff, seems to be listing more of it as well. eBay Seller: regalservice
  2. So this old monitor will need repair it is making bad smells and sound will not work, It did before but slowly began to cut out more and more often. if interested let me know, and i dont expect much other than buyer to pay shipping price and can put it on ebay as I'm not sure what to do with it. I am in Canada, Vancouver Islands format would mostly be NTSC.
  3. Just tried the regular 3 button sega genesis controller, it does work but rather terribly for any newcomers the pointer hardly moves at all. Not only that. it was overly hard to fit in the controller port and strain to remove possibly causing damage the port. I would not recommended this method to those out there who are new and who may be curious.
  4. How about those older wilco branded ones, here's some pictures. https://www.google.ca/search?q=wilco+joystick&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjo_rnumfnOAhVG8GMKHekXBqIQ_AUICCgB&biw=1024&bih=662
  5. seems this question was asked before but with confusing answers. is there a list of compatible gamepads, controllers, joysticks to use on the atari st computer for games does the regular sega genesis controller work on the atari st, last time we read here some were claiming it can damage the atari st ?
  6. Picked up an Atari 1040 STe with a SC1224 Color monitor used (craigslist) for a good price. It has been working all fine and dandy except a couple odd issues. The volume knob is Glitchy in that it only sometimes works and the sound will cut out and after about 20 minutes of usage.. The thing just REEKS!!! as in the entire apartment smells like "stale burnt popcorn" as someone in the chat room so eloquently suggested. This really makes me sad the monitor is a cute little thing and I wanted to enjoy it for long periods of time without worry. The smell is so strong that even after opening a window with a fan on the highest setting blowing on it, it is still lingering there. I'm getting worried the damn thing might even explode so it can't be too safe to use plus the smell is causing me migraine headaches.
