Just an update. Someone on a Facebook group I am active on sent me a fully working one for the price of postage So after harvesting the LCD I now have a minty boxed Atari Lynx II that works Thanks for your help.

Just messaged McWill about a replacement LCD screen for it. In the mean time I will try and source a faulty one on eBay to harvest a screen from. Thanks for the advice

Hi all, I bought the attached Atari Lynx II. I have recapped it to fix the no sound issue, then I also noticed it had a lot of discoloured pixels a purple sort of colour. Anyone know what it could be and or how to repair it ? Thanks in advance
