No, I found out that the problem is with the computer, because I tested it with a SC1224 monitor and it showed the same bars. It might be what you say.

I tried the following video connection: Atari 1040STFM->Retrogamingcables ST SCART cable->XRGB-2 plus->CRT VGA monitor The image I got was fine but with vertical lines accross it (photo below). Anyone had this problem? Any ideas to have it solved?

I would recommend to get one from Ray Carlsen. Also, Ray was very kind answering my questions; his commitment is remarkable.

Update: Yesterday I received the shipping confirmation. In another email, Steven mentioned that the item was back-ordered, and kindly offered support should I have any question or concern. It took a while, but it finally shipped.

Hello, my first post here. I read this thread and I wanted to share my experience so far. Initially I emailed Steven because I had a question regarding his product MyIDE II, and he replied the next day. Finally I decided to order one through his website, and I received a Paypal confirmation the same day (September 6th). As of this writing, I haven't received any other communication regarding my order. I sent an additional email on September 9th to see if everything is alright, but didn't receive any reply. I hope you all are right and this is caused by him being too busy. I would have liked some kind of feedback, though. I will update this once I have news.
