  1. Here's my rare TI-99/4 (not 4a) up for auction. It is in working condition: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Original-TI-99-4-Computer-1979-/191728308200
  2. For those of you interested, I listed it on EBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Original-TI-99-4-Computer-1979-/191728308200
  3. Rare Original TI-99/4 Computer http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Original-TI-99-4-Computer-1979-/191728308200
  4. Thanks Cschneider, that's kind of what I was thinking. I thought the last one I saw on Ebay went for around $300, so I'll probably go that route, unless I get a good offer. Here are some pictures of the actual system. It comes with the power supply and is in working condition. Some information from the bottom: Model PHC 004C Copyright 1979 Serial 0114405 LTA3780 Assembled in USA Power supply is Adaptor Model AC9500, has the prongs coming directly off the transformer unit (ie. transformer is not in the middle of the wires). It says output: Pins 1,2 16.0VAC 36.0VA Pins 2,4 8.0VAC 1.0VA Edit: Did some more research: bottom is textured, not shiny like the back, and no earphone plug, so looks like a later one like Ksarul suggests below... Looks like the LTA3780 means Week 37 of 1980.
  5. I'm going to be at PRGE this weekend, and inquired about putting my TI-99/4 (the original, not 4A) in the auction but was told it's worth about the same as a 4A, and could only be auctioned with a start price of $20 with no reserve. That didn't sound right to me. Anyway, if someone is interested in this, and will pay fair market (not sure if one has been on Ebay recently, I couldn't find one), I can bring it and sell it there. I have powered it up, and it seems to work fine, played some TI Invaders on it for a bit.
