Update on 2/17/17:
Funny how sometimes life decides to shake you up. Back in December, I had a heart attack followed up with two ulcers. I'm just now recovering better and my ulcers are healing. Eating better and quitting smoking were two of the priority items after getting out of the hospital, so I'm on track and starting to feel like my old self. Cardiac rehab is next week along with some better choices for foods, such as veggies and leaner meats.
That being said, my gaming habits were put on hold during this time and I'm rethinking what I want to do regarding video games. I have three main consoles now, and no portables: My Xbox One 2 TB system, my Nintendo Wii first generation system, and my Atari 2600 light 6-switch that was resurrected by my friend recently. I've been gaming mightily with Skyrim Special Edition on the One, and playing lots of Super Mario Galaxy 2. With that, my Atari 2600 has been getting frequent workouts with games such as Ms. Pacman and Phoenix.
So gaming is still very much a part of my life, but deciding what I want to devote my time to has been rather difficult. I have a few game systems waiting in boxes that I don't play (my Intellivison 1 and Xbox 360 4GB edition) but don't want to sell, either. At some point I will be asking around for games from folks here but in the meantime I have plenty to keep me busy.
