I don't know if Ben or anyone here has used the Best Electronics CX 40 but I find that to be the best compromise between microswitches and the dome type.
I would buy a microswitch CX40 from Atari in a heartbeat. The Atari CX 40 form factor is great.
Maybe I should get with the times and try wireless. It would be nice to get away from the birds nest.
The competition pro was relaunched in recent years. I never tried the new one but I'm a fan of the old. There are many fan made micro switch joysticks. Yours has a nice form factor.
I would be game for this, but the R&D seemed to be a bit behind. I will get an Atari+ if it ever becomes a true plug & play solution, until then the original 2600 is fine.
I just got my first Heavy Sixer. It's a Sears Tele-Games. I didn't grow up with the Tele-Games but the picture quality looked great in a test. I have a few light sixers, a modded Vader and a really nice 4-switch woody.
