  1. i've been getting all my stuff off ebay. who are HES? How much have you been paying for your cartridges? i averaged out all the prices i paid and it works out about £3.50 a cart; all but 3 were boxed and half are still sealed in shrinkwrap. PS - i released yesterday that 5200 = 2 x 2600 and 7800 = 3 x 2600 I always wondered why they chose those numbers..... why 2600 in the first place? and another thing i thought sentinel was going to be a lightgun version of the BBC micro game. I was EXTREMELY dissapointed when i got it and found out it wasnt, because that would have been a GENIUS idea
  2. i found a game list through this board but can't remember where now, but i noted all the NTSC only ones, they are: the monitor cartridge the diagnostic cartridge tank command water ski rampage (unfortunately ) summer games winter games touchdown football and you say that robotron is NTSC only as well? the PAL only were: Sentinel 32-in-1 i really wanted rampage, is it any good on the 7800? I bought the 2600 one and it sucks. the prototypes (NTSC only) were: 3D Asteroids (which apparently was just a prototype cart for the built in game) GATO Klax Pitfighter the ones i need are: High score cartridge 32in1 double dragon f-18 hornet kung fu master pete rose baseball super skateboardin' title match pro wrestling tomcat f14 fighter simulator mario bros scrapyard dog realsports baseball what is the lightgun called? is it just an atari lightgun?
  3. I've started collecting PAL 7800 stuff about a month ago on ebay(PAL since I live in the UK)- I've got about 40 games now but recently discovered that there are 6 games and the monitor and diagnostic carts that are only available in NTSC. Is there any way to play them on a PAL system? I've bought two systems since one had a really weak rf signal and i couldn't tune it in properly -anyone know how to remedy this? Plus the systems i bought and all the ones that come up on UK ebay have fingertip controllers. did the pro-line controller ever get released in the UK? also do master system light guns work on the atari? i know that 8 and 16bit sega controllers were atari pin compatible, and have been using a Genesis pad since the atari fingertip pads are as stiff as those stubby little 2600 joysticks. also - did the 5200 actually get released in the UK? none ever come up on UK ebay. This was the console i really wanted to collect for but couldnt find it so turned to the 7800. not that i'm complaining! centipede rules! thanks a lot james
