Ok... could you tell me some of those variables before I spend another $100+ on another console?

I know there was a post not too long ago about this, but I still haven't found a solution (even after posting in that thread). I'm getting no video or audio from my Jaguar. It powers on with a game, but no video or audio. I've tried RF and RGB (two different RGB cables) going to a Framemeister and a PVM. Don't have the original power supply, but I've used a Genesis Model 1 supply and one from Retrodcpowered.com. I opened up the system, but there's nothing obviously wrong. Nothing looks blown. I've spot cleaned some dirt, but nothing major. I have no clue what to do from here.

Add me to this list. Atari powers on with a game, but no audio or video. Not even a red screen. Nothing. I've tried through RF and RGB Scart to a PVM and the XRGB Mini. I've used multiple power adapters (one fro retrodcpowered.com and a Genesis model 1 adapter). Powers on and the LED isn't dim. Also nothing visibly has blown on the board. No idea where to go from here now.

Unfortunately it's not that easy of a solution. I get black horizontal bars on the left side of the screen. Here's some pictures http://imgur.com/a/fVca5These are before I adjusted the colour knob. The greys still look the same though.

I just modded my Atari Jr. Model for composite video, but I'm having issues. The blacks are not showing correctly. They appear to be grey. I had colour issues, which I fixed by adjusting the knob on the left side of the console, but the blacks are still wrong.
