Thank you for taking the time to answer my dumb question. Since I couldn't get any of the passwords to work on my Atari VCS and I even downgraded and yet no password worked only to be upgraded as soon as I turn on my VCS and use the Atari OS. Conclusion, I just went and got a Mini-PC and gave my Atari to my roommate who is using it as a Windows Machine.. LOL Thanks again! -Lockar

Sorry for just joining into this conversation. I just got an update on my Atari VCS 800 and I've tried and tried to get into the BIOS Setup. Has anyone been able to get into the BIOS Setup since the update? If so what did you use? I am ready to sell this thing if I can't find other uses for it other the Atari VCS stuff (it was a gift, I didn't buy the unit).

You wouldn't know what the password is? It's asking for a password for me to go into Administrator Settings.

Hi, I would like to boot Batoerca Linux on the Atari VCS 800 but I am getting a hit with Secure Boot wall block. Is it possible to boot this on the Atari VCS 800? I am a newbie on this platform so be kind. Thanks!

Hi I am very confused by several messages on here. Does the firmware update for the 2019 Legends Flashback, fix the Star Wars, I sold mine and I didn't realize that I did the update that takes away the Star Wars games. The one up there does this bring them back or do I need to use Ed's modified Firmware? Thank you in advance! :)

Is this the same as the Atari Flashback X? If isn't, anyone know what's different with it? Wards.com seems to have the "Atari Mini Flashback X" for a high price and I was wondering if his was a new one for this year? Thanks! (Yes I know it's high, but I thought I ask aways LOL)

Okay, after playin around I got it to see my SD card. However it only sees SEGA Gen, and Nintendo NES, and Super NES games. If will not look at anything else like arcade games (yes I was using the special naming scheme used in the 2018 model). So we did to crack the 2019 model to od Arcade. LOL Thanks!

After applying that update I still haven't unlocked the SD Card. All that did was bump my version up a little. Your version is still higher than mine... (See photo) -Lockar

But I think mine does need a Firmware update. Take a look at my version number and yours. You will notice it is lower then the one you have. I have tried other SD cards, and I do have games in the "GAME" folder just like the other one. Thanks!

Okay guys. I just got my hands on the new 2019 version of the Legends, and yes it does have an SD slot.. The menu does have SD Card, but it's grayed out regardless if if there is an SD card in there or not. So I am guessing it needs to be flashed.. Anyone flash this year's model yet. I thought I would ask.. I noticed there are ColecoVision games on it and man does this look rough compared to the 2018 version. Some of the same games on the unit look washed out.. ? Thanks!
