  4. Its because in that game, you score is your health/a timer, so it always goes down. If you die before completing a level, then your score will be really low. You have to complete a level (or the game) to get a high score. Highest score I've ever seen was around 13k for a completed game, so it definitely maxes out well before 1 mil.
  5. Current record is now officially 426, since Rogers' record was removed. http://www.twingalaxies.com/bugs/atari-2600-vcs/
  6. So basically he's not going to prove us wrong because he was being triggered by detractors? Does he need a safe space to perform those feats?
  7. I think the reason why is that so many of his scores were highly suspect. A good example was Fathom. His record was 1,110,500. Second place? 142
  8. No more 5.51 http://www.twingalaxies.com/showthread.php/175364-Dispute-Dick-Moreland-Atari-2600-VCS?p=945911&viewfull=1#post945911 Guess Twin Galaxies deserves our shirt now.

  11. Does the PacMan game in it follow the same patterns that are in the arcade? Also, what happened to the Colecovision Collection?
  12. So I've got some interest starting a Ms. Pac-Man tourney using the Tengen NES version because it has a 2 player simultaneous mode. Here are the preliminary rules: 4 out of 7 2 player competitive mode. Pac Booster off Map: Mini (the scrolling on the Standard map makes the 2 player mode kind of wonky) Difficulty: Normal Does this kind of tournament sound interesting? Trying to come up with some decent VS tournaments for the NES outside of sports games, and there's not a lot to choose from.
  13. Have a PS2/Action Replay question. I want to move some game saves from Game FAQs to my PS2 using AR Max. I have an 8gb flash drive, which I uploaded the saves too from my PC. I launched AR and it recognizes the USB but shows no files at all. I then reformatted the USB from FAT32 to just FAT, and repeated the process. Still not showing any files. I then found a 2gb flash drive (FAT) that I've had for 10 years, and put the save files on there. Again, the PS2 recognized the drive but didn't show any files. What can I do to get it to recognize my save files? They are .max files. I've tried this on a slim and fat system with no luck.
