  1. Hello All, This rig uses an "EPIC" card to drive the controls. 486 running DOS with soundblaster and the software and manuals included. Not shown but also included are F15e flight stick and throttle stick. $440.00 including documentation and software as shown. This is too bulky/heavy to ship. I am located in Los Angeles. Thank you. KB
  2. HOLY CRAP. This is the one I saw in 1985 and have been looking for, for decades. Looks like it was on Gold Disk #12 and may not be an actual raytracer but more of a graphics toolset, which is amazing to me. I love this. Many thanks @hofster and of course @motrucker. It's like I just went through a wormhole.
  3. Thanks @motrucker I did check there and get a 404. I emailed the person who runs the site in order to ask. Cheers, KB

Wow, beautiful. A work of art, thank you for taking on this project.
  5. These are now sold, thank you for anyone interested. Collection of spare ICs, and NOS GTIA. Looking for $80 + shipping from Los Angeles. I sold my beloved 400, and forgot that I had bought these. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks. KB
  6. Hello yet again. New, opened and in binder. Includes Programmers card. Looking for $40 + shipping from Los Angeles. Thanks for looking. KB
  7. Hello again, I always wanted to learn assembly for graphics but sadly have had no time and have been laid off. Looking for $100 + shipping from Los Angeles. Would also consider AtariAge voice enhanced Berzerk cart + some cash.

  9. Hi Team, I bought this magazine on eBay, wasn't cheap but I scanned the relevant article for everyone. Enjoy. KB Consumer_Reports_Sept_83_Home_Computer_Article.pdf.zip
  10. Found an auction of the disks, except Volume 2, which may have had the raytracer. Gold Disk 64 appears to have been a Canadian thing. What I remember is that the gold disk came in a box and the back of the box had an image of a sphere rendered in dithered monochromatic high resolution. So I will keep looking. Man I should have bought it back then.
  11. Interesting, thank you both. Nick, thanks especially for trying it now I know it works on your enhanced it should work on mine. EDIT: it works, the SD floppy emulator had been in slot 7 on the machine. (I bought it this way) I moved to slot 6 and the game now works. Thanks again.
  12. Hello All, in terms of Apple I am new here but have some II+/IIe experience from my youth. I now have a IIe with no floppy drives but with an SD Disk ][ Plus storage solution. I have put many .DSK on the SD and they all work. Sadly except my favorite Apple game as a little kid that I want to show my son, Old Ironsides. I have tried 5 different versions, from Asov, TOSEC, and elsewhere but none work. Black screen with square bracket, no cursor. I am able to play it on the Mac via emulation in Virtual II. The manual for the game says "Old Ironsides will work on any Apple* or Apple II Plus* with 48K and a disk drive with DOS 3.3 (16 sector)" but I am very rusty on my IIe abilities so I don't know if one of those specifications is the root of my issue. So I have a couple of questions, does anyone else have similar hardware (SD storage) and is able to play the game? Or is it somehow not compatible? Many thanks. KB
  13. Hi All, I had intended on learning assy for drawing on the 8-bits but I need to focus elsewhere. Sorry but I am not interested in trades. EDIT: I had asked for offers but I didn't receive any, so I will do some research and come up with a price. Since I don't have a price I feel like I should remove (or ask to have removed) this post. I will ask Al to do so. Cheers, thank you for your interest. KB
  14. Hello Smart Atarians, Can someone explain how the keyboard beep is generated? Is there a technical definition of the sound somewhere? Is the POKEY involved at all or is it some "clicks" at some Khz like the Apple II? Thank you for reading this. Cheers, KB
